Chapter 1

I've been locked in basement for 240 days. I have nothing except a diary.

I stared blankly at the cold, damp walls of my prison, the darkness suffocating me like a shroud. 240 days. That's how long I'd been locked in this basement, with nothing but my diary to keep me company. The words blurred together on the page, a jumbled mess of emotions and despair. They said I'd be the wife of Prince Seo. The man I'd never see,  yet knew all too well. He was the one who'd kept me captive, who'd ordered his men to hurt me, to break me. The one who'd fed me once a week, like a dog. The one who'd taken everything from me, including my family.

The thought of marrying him made my stomach churn. It was a fate worse than death. I hated him with every fiber of my being, and the thought of being his wife was a constant reminder of my captivity.

The sounds of suffering echoed through the walls, a haunting reminder of the horrors that took place in this place. Children's screams, women's pleas, men's desperate cries for mercy – all silenced, one by one. The words of my captors still lingered in my mind: "The one who comes here will never go back."  Yet here I am in a miserable mess wishing to die but fate is perhaps giving me a chance to live.

I will survive

I will die

I will try

My gaze fell upon the black gown resting on the table, a cruel reminder of my fate. It was a torture, a constant presence that seemed to mock me. Today was the day I'd finally see the heartless man who'd held me captive for so long. My anger simmered, fueled by the desire to hurt him, to bury a blade in his heart.

The sound of footsteps outside my cell made me tense. "Get ready on time, Prince doesn't like to wait," one of the guards growled. I winced as I stood up, my legs aching from the weeks of confinement. The belt marks on my skin were a constant reminder of the pain I'd endured.

Two soldiers dragged me out of the basement, the sudden light blinding me. I squinted, my eyes adjusting slowly to the brightness. As we walked through the Mafia Mansion, I caught glimpses of the hellish world I'd been trapped in. Bloodstains on the floor, the smell of death hanging in the air, and the sound of crying and screams echoing through the corridors.

We entered a huge, dark room, the air thick with tension. My breaths came heavy, my heart racing with fear. I knew danger lurked in every corner, but I was powerless to do anything. The soldiers beside me bowed and left the room, leaving me alone.

A dim light flickered in the corner of the room, casting eerie shadows on the walls. I strained my eyes, trying to see what was happening. Suddenly, a pair of legs moved into view, and my heart skipped a beat.

"Welcome," a dark, menacing voice called out, sending shivers down my spine. I gulped my saliva and tried to see the man sitting on the chair in the dim light. All I could see were a pair of legs. "Doll, didn't you wore the gown I delivered?" said the man who I hate. "Doll" is the name that will haunt me till death. He stands up coming closer to me and I finally see this Fucking Asshole's face. I try hard to keep my breathing calm, but the monster in front of me sends shivers down my spine,  tall , blue eyes , blonde hair , sharp teeth- teeth? Oh, he's laughing, that devil laugh, which I heard many times coming outside from the basement. I always wondered whose that monster is behind all this brutality, and today I'm standing right in front of him like a prey. His fingers trail down my jaw, which feels like a knife cutting through my skin. "Doll, why didn't you.wore.that.dress?" His voice dangerously low. I gather my all courage to answer him. "I-i didn't- want too."  his eyes darken he chuckles, whispering in my ear, "It's alright, I prefer you, Naked" My eyes widen, and I have a sudden urge to kill this man but his next words almost kills me "You are to be my bride, Doll!" he says leaning his lips closer to mine and caging me between his arms I take a long breath before saying "why? I don't want to be..." I keep myself calm looking in his eyes he doesn't responds , leans his lips closer to mine and without a word kisses me almost hungrily, desperately, roughly "I can't kill this beauty perhaps my wife then?" he growls i find hard to breathe and try to push him but fail as always. I bite on his lower lip making sure it bleeds he jerks me away in disbelief and i take my chance shout at him "I won't marry you fucking bastard, rot in hell" it's all I say and run , run till I trip and shred into darkness as always.
