Keeps you on edge
"This is an intriguing story and would make an equally fine novel. It has all the elements of a best seller. The "bad guy" is truly unlikable. You find yourself rooting for the "uglies" - a pair of not physically attractive brainiacs. The story ended abruptly and I wanted to find out what would happen."

"A very intense story, gripping in the manner which which it is told. The only regret is that the story is not complete here, one has to wait, or go to a different site to finish. "
An easy, if somewhat predictable, read
"An easy, if somewhat predictable, read. The character development is shallow with little sense of place. The story-telling syle seemed in line with young adult literature until some very adult themes emerged. The "tell" rather than "show" writing style left me feeling like an observer rather than engaging with the story making it difficult to care about the characters. It is unlikely I would purchase this if it were developed into a full length novel."
