"I’ll start off by saying that the book was good. I certainly didn’t hate it but there are a few issues. The logistics (most notable in chapter 4) were not very well explained. Silly things like why did her mother have to leave for a week? Why was Richard always watching her in a mirror even when it would be physically impossible? Where did this mansion come from and if he had it the whole time, why was he living in a normal house? Some of it felt AI written mainly due to word choice and particular grammar used, and the picture at the end?…. Well, I don’t think it was necessary but each to their own."
