Unexpected stay...
On a nice sunny day a group of Five Friends decide to go to IKEA for their lunch. they were out the whole morning just hanging out. As they enter the Store they are greeted with nice and relaxing music. They look around and see the good old bathroom displays, kitchen displays and bedroom displays. they walk forward through the Store in the direction they believe the food are is. They just keep walking... and walking... and walking... until one of them speaks up. "guys... its been like 20 minutes. there is no way a store can be this big" The group comes to a halt "Shut up Bowas!" Bowas recoils after hearing that. He looks down at his blue jacket and cover his stomach he can feel it digesting himself with how hungry he is. He looks at Sleepy and sees him looking distressed. "Dude I know we are hungry and getting a little spooked but there is no need to lash out like that..." The other 3 friends watch them argue. One of them Looks at a shelf and comes up with an idea.
"What are you thinking of doing?" one of the boys asks. "its simple, ghost. I'm just going to climb that shelf right there and get the staff's attention" Ghost tilts his head to the side and looks at starlight with an disappointed expression. "you serious? we are going to get kicked out." Starlight looks at ghost and smirks.
"yeah I just wanna find my way out. I don't give a crap. I would rather be kicked out then get lost in a store. its kinda embarrassing" Ghost sighs and looks away signalling to starlight he can do it.
Sleepy turns to Bowas and imitates the staff walkie talkie conversations "Uhm so we got a boy with fake wings on his back wearing a purple tartan shit with weird black and purple pants. he also has chains on each leg. he is dressed really weirdly. Maybe he needs to go to fashion school. he is climbing one of the shelves. he need to be kicked out, over."
Ghost turns around and looks at Sleepy. "you are being a right bell end, You know that?" Sleepy chuckles "Okay.." Bowas looks at sleepy with a disappointed expression as well.
Taco approaches the 3 "guys lets calm down. we are all hungry here an just want food. there is a burger king across from the place. lets just give up on getting the meat balls and go to the burger king once we are kicked out."
Sleepy looks at taco and speaks in a soft tone "But i want mc donalds"
Bowas replies in a threatening tone "Sleepy..."
Sleepy puts his hands up and backs away "Fine. Fine, Fine... we will go to burger king"
Starlight ways to the group "GUYS! I DONT SEE AN ENTRANCE AND ANY PEOPLE! WHAT DO WE DO? "
The other 4 boys look at Starlight in shock. Bowas takes off his blue hat and drops it on the ground. "no entrance? what does he mean? what kind of paranormal story are we in? what the hell?"
Ghost feels like he is going to throw up after hearing this disturbing news. he feels his legs getting weak and shaking.
Taco looks at sleepy and sees him sitting on the floor looking washed. "guys if that is true then we got to find someone. we cant be the only people here" The group looks at taco and decides to start venturing deeper into the store.
After roughly an hour of walking Bowas spots a figure down an aisle. "Guys! look!" Ghost peaks down the aisle and instantly notices something is off. "Guys, that does not look human..."
The figure has MASSIVE Arms, its legs and short its torso is big and bulky and its waist is small and thin. its arms can reach the floor while its standing upright and it is walking the opposite direction from the group.
Starlight looks at Ghost and mumbles "I honestly don't care, I'm hungry and I'm wanting to get out of this place. he appears to be staff anyway so lets just get this over with.
Ghost stops starlight from approaching the figure.
"I will talk to him"
Starlight screws his eyes and looks at ghost
"Hell no, I'm coming as well"
Ghost and starlight hesitantly Approach the figure.
Starlight starts sweating, his hands start shaking and his legs feel weak.
"Ghost? we are half way there let's just turn back"
Ghost looks at Starlight and shakes his head.
"Hell no! I wanna leave"
Ghost and Starlight come to a sudden stop they look in front of them and see it...
It has big arms, small legs, pale skin, bendy limbs and when it stopped they noticed its not got ears.
Starlight gulps and backs away.
The creature turns around and looks at Ghost and Starlight. They notice it has no facial features It looks at the boys then turns around and continues its stroll.
"Guys get back here!" Bowas Yells.
The duo sprints back to the other 3 feeling startled.
Ghost grabs Bowas' Shoulder.
"BRO WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
Bowas trembles "I-I don't know"
The entire group is startled and clueless to their situation.
They climb the closest shelf to gain the high ground. just before they reach the top they hear a loud thud and everything goes dark. Taco's face suddenly lights up. "Boy you know i stay prepared"
He shines the light at the upper part of the shelf so everyone sees where they are climbing. they get to the top of the shelf and lay down.
Sleepy groans. "i never want to exercise like that again...
Bowas chuckles "looks like we will be doing waaaayyy more of this..."
Ghost and Taco stand up. Taco stares at a mess of furniture that is lit up and hums. "hmm We maybe should go there if this place ever lights up again."
Ghost stares at the light and replies "yeah. that might be a good place to stay at.." He gasp's "Wait! What if that's a civilization?!"
Bowas, Sleepy and Starlight All spring up and look at the distant wall that's lit up like a distant city. Suddenly everyone feels the shelf shaking. Taco points his light down and they see the creature from earlier shaking the shelf. Ghost immediately jumps to a neighbouring shelf that's in the direction of the furniture wall.
"GUYS COME OVER HERE"
Sleepy and Bowas without hesitation jump over to Ghost. The creature pathetically tries to reach Taco but obviously fails due to it being 8 foot tall and the shelves being near to 15 feet tall.
Taco backs away from the edge of the shelf feeling shivers down his spine.
He sprints to the end of the shelf and jumps to the other, They all look behind them and see Starlight frozen to the spot.
"Jump! NOW! Ghost calls.
Starlight takes a deep breath and Sprints for the edge. but just before he Jumps the shelf he is standing on shakes and almost falls. His heart is in his throat at this point and he falls nearing the other edge. He gets back up on his feet and sprints for the edge again. but the shelf falls. just before it hits the floor Starlight's hangs off the edge and then gets trapped in between the shelf he is on and the shelf that was next to it. he feels it being crushed and screams out in pain.
Sleepy looks away and grits his teeth hearing Starlights cries and pleads for help. The other's look away and decide to continue approaching the mysterious wall they see. Sleepy looks back and notices the monster is still perusing them. "Guys RUN!" Sleepy starts sprinting and clearing Jump after Jump. Taco shines his light down again and spots the monster Jumping at them. It knocks down the Shelf Bowas just jumped from. Bowas panic's noticing he is falling behind and the monster is knocking over the shelves he barely Jumps from.
The chase continues for another agonizing 10 minutes until The monster finally climbs a shelf infront of where they were going. Taco shines his light onto the floor but sees more of those creatures. but instead... They were skinny, they all had the same iconic ikea shirt and the missing face. but those ones were talking... they were repeating a phrase. "Excuse me, the store is now closed. please exit the building"
Taco yelps down at them "Where?!" But the staff dont reply to him they just repeat the same phrase with their distorted voices. The shelf they are on shakes violently as the big 8 foot ikea monster leaps onto the shelf they are standing on.
"What do we do now?!" Sleepy cries as he stands up once again.
Bowas feels the shelf shaking and his eye light up as he gets an idea. He Whispers to Ghost
"lets jump off the shelf onto the other. I will go last. Trust me!"
Ghost hesitates but decides to trust Bowas. "Guys JUMP!"
The 3 jump onto another shelf to their right. The monster stares at Bowas before attempting to grab him.
As it attempts to grab Bowas he jumps for their shelf. but he kicks the edge of the shelf. making it fall over. They continue making their escape.
A tiring 20 minutes go by
They stop and decide to take a break. Taco shines around the place with his flashlight spotting nothing. He sits down with the others and switches his flashlight off.
Sleepy looks at Bowas "so.. do you think starlight is alive?"
Bowas looks down feeling his eyes welling up. "definetly not..."
Ghost grab's sleepy's shoulder "Bro... That monster probably went back to finish him off after losing us.."
Taco starts to cry. Ghost grab's taco and pulls him into a hug.
Bowas walks to the opposite edge of the shelf and sits down. he looks off at the glowing furniture wall and starts crying.
The group decides to wait out the night on the shelf.
The next morning: 5 Hours later
The boy's are awoken by the loud Clicking sound of the Hundreds of lights all turning on all at once.
Ghost Rubs his eyes and look's around. he remembers the situation they are in. He stands up as the others wake up.
Sleepy looks at the group and feels like crying again remembering Starlight isn't there.
The group collectively Looks at that glowing wall again all with one goal in mind... Get to that town.
They decide to stay on the shelves and risk jumping from one to another. hoping it does not fall. They see the walls getting closer as they journey on.
Eventually after 6 agonising hours of them traveling they are right outside the Wall. They walk around it and notice its got a gate. But just before they can knock the Lights cut out again...
"Shit!" Sleepy yells as he turns around
Taco spots one of the creature approaching them, its just like the rest. roughly 6 foot with tall with arms around 4 foot long, its faceless and Repeating the same line in a distorted voice "excuse me, the store is now closed. Please exit the building"
"Guys I see another one of those monsters!"
Ghost, Bowas and Sleepy turn around and see it. Bowas approaches the Monster and attempts to throw a punch, But it grabs his arm and snaps it with little to no effort.
Before it can harm Bowas anymore Taco rams into the monster it staggers back and looks at Taco. It slowly starts approaching him. Taco raises his fists and throws a punch on the monsters face it reacts to the punch but still keeps approaching Taco.
Taco tries to attack it again but the monster grabs Taco and lifts him off the floor. Taco starts rapidly punching its face but he gets thrown into Ghost While he was sprinting to help. Sleepy Grabs a random hand crafted arrow he finds on the floor and stabs the monster in the leg.
Taco and Ghost both stand up after the minor injuries they recieved and see Sleepy in distress. Ghost sneaks up behind the monster as it Stands once again, He jumps onto the monsters back and starts punching it in the back of the head it grabs Ghost's arm and pulls him over its shoulder it slams him into the ground.
The gate that was behind them opens and Bowas can see people rushing to help the group.
Taco and Sleepy were still fending Ghost from the monster But they suddenly see an arrow go through the monsters head.
As it falls to the ground they see 3 armed people standing before them, bright lights behind the people and they see make-shift weapons in their hands.
Sleepy scowls at the 3 armed civilians "who are you guys? is this even real? whats going on?"
One of the men chuckle before saying "you came to our town and we saved you from the staff member, thank us later. lets get you strays inside."
Bowas Groans "thank goodness. Also... Can someone please help me up? i think my arm is broken"
Ghost rises after laying on the floor with a concussion "Am i dead?? What is going on? where is it?"
Taco sighs "they saved us.."
Ghost turns to his right and sees the open gate with 2 men helping Bowas enter the furniture town.
