Beautiful and heartwarming
"I went into this expecting a full-on rivalry between the main characters, tension, drama, all of it, but instead I ended up staying for how sweet and wholesome it was. I kept waiting for things to fall apart at some point, because that’s usually how these stories go, but it never really did, and I loved that. Their relationship was so pure and strong. No unnecessary drama, just two people who genuinely cared about each other and supported each other at all times. It’s such a sweet, feel-good read. Highly recommend it."

"I initially started this book thinking there would be strong rivalry, conflicting forbidden romance vibes and even though that wasn't quite the case I still wasn't disappointed! This was such a wonderful story, the wholesome, healthy love between Theo and Tori had me squealing and kicking my feet. It's well written, engaging, and has a natural pacing. Would definitely recommend! "

"I liked the characters and their development throughout the story a lot, it was really well written as well which is always a plus! The only reason I gave 4 stars on the plot is I thought it was a bit confusing how she didn’t recognize theo as the captain of the rival team even though she spent hours watching film from other games and teams which I would assume would also include interviews, thus she would presumably know his face? besides that single plot hole I thought the plot was engaging and overall pretty awesome!!!! I would be psyched to read a sequel of this!! "

"Fantastic book. The way tori came into herself and realised that being a woman in a man's sport made no difference to her being the best at what she does. Theo also realised he was above his dysfunctional family and didn't need there approval. "

"Honestly, I don't think I disliked any part of this cute story. It was honestly well written, which let's be honest, is becoming a rarity these days. Writing 10 out of ten. Now let's get to the story, it was really sweet love story. Ones that melts your frozen dead heart and I love the small details scattered throughout the entire story. You can definitely tell the author wrote this with passion and honestly hope s they write more. I'd definitely would recommend thus to anyone who is looking for a love story that can keep you coming back to read just one more chapter even when you need to get back to work, chores and/or sleep. Could not put this down until I finished it."

"Firstly I don't know anything about hockey 😂 so I thought that maybe I'd be a bit lost, but that wasn't the case at all! The descriptions are amazing, it really pulled me into the story! Tori and Theo have amazing chemistry, their banter is so natural and effortless, it's like they have known each other for ages, and all the characters have their own unique voice making it realistic. I'm loving this story and I cannot wait to keep reading! 😍🥰"

"Okay, I've read 7 chapters by now. Let me start this by saying that I've never read, watched or done ANYTHING hockey-related, but somehow this story still makes sense and is genuinely interesting, at least for me. The writing is really good, especially the dialogue and descriptions. Also, there hasn't been a single chapter this far that felt slow or "boring". On the contrary, new things get put into light by - almost - each chapter which then keeps the reader interested at alerted at all times. So good. The back-and-forth between Theo and Tori is so soft, sweet and realistic, so anyone that likes that type of relationship, well: here you go! Can't wait to read more from you Elara!
