Chapter 1

Hotel Bedroom Encounter

The lights inside the Blue Gallant Hotel are dim, with a soft glow casting over the luxurious space, creating a cool and relaxed atmosphere. Tristan is sitting on a soft couch, dressed in a nice suit, the kind that matched his cool demeanor and successful status. Across from him sats his longtime friend and business partner, Ryan. Their voices were low and serious as they discussed business decisions.

"Let’s do it this way" Tristan said, his brows slightly furrowed. "I don’t think it’ll work that way."

"You mean the second plan?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah. Let’s just go with Plan B."

"No problem, then," Ryan agreed with a nod.

"I’m sure Plan B will work."

"Let’s hope so." Tristan replied

A sudden knock on the door interrupted their discussion. Clara, a beautiful room attendant dressed in a neatly pressed uniform, stood outside the suite holding a tray of drinks and snacks. She hesitated, wondering if they’d heard her.

"Are they sleeping?" she muttered, then shook her head. "No, I don’t think so." Gathering her courage, she knocked again.

Inside, Tristan stood and walked to the door. When he opened it, his eyes met Clara's . For a second, the world paused.

"Room service, sir," she said professionally, her voice calm and clear.

Tristan blinked, momentarily stunned . "Oh! Come in."

"Thank you, sir." Clara replied

She stepped in and set the tray down on the table near the couch. As she moved, Tristan watched her, "she is beautiful"  he whispered.

Ryan, noticing Tristan’s sudden change in demeanor, smirked. "Someone’s waiting for me downstairs," he said, standing up. "I’ll catch up with you later, Tristan."

Tristan knew there was no one downstairs, but he appreciated the kindness. "Alright, my friend," he replied.

Once the door closed behind Ryan, Clara turned toward Tristan.

"I think I’m done here, sir." She coughed softly, staring at his cute eyes

"Oh, nice. What’s your name again?" he asked smoothly.

"You haven't asked before, sir" . She replied with a smile

"Oh that's true" Tristan scoffed

"Well, I'm Clara" She spoke softly

"Nice name, May I have your contact, pretty lady"? Tristan asked

Clara smiled, clearly flattered. "Sure, sir."

.They exchanged contact details.

"And please," Tristan added, "drop the formalities. I’m sure we’re around the same age. I’m Tristan."

"Sure, no problem," she said. "I’ll be on my way then."

"Nice to meet you, Clara. I’ll text you before I go to bed."

Before he goes to bed? The words echoed in her mind.

"Alright, Tristan" she said with a small smile.

As she walked out of the room, Tristan couldn’t hide his grin. Alone, he did a little dance. "Yes! I’m a man—I did it!"

Just then, Ryan walked back in.

"You’re back," Tristan said, still smiling.

"Are you that happy?" Ryan teased.

"Of course. I love that lady so much."

"That’s why I left earlier—to give you the chance to talk to her."

"Thanks, Ryan"

Back at the staff quarters, Clara returned to her duty, though her mind was still floating somewhere between joy and disbelief. Her colleagues walked up to her immediately after noticing her mood.

"Hey, Clara" Emily said, walking up with Lucy beside her. "I heard you went to the VIP room to deliver snacks?"

"Yeah," Clara replied, trying to sound casual.

Lucy moved closer, eager to know more. "So, how was it? I heard the man is very handsome and has cute eyes." Lucy asked

"I just delivered the snacks and excused myself," Clara said quickly.

"Come on! What took you so long then?" Emily teased. "We’re not kids. Was that really all?"

Clara hesitated. "I…"

"I’m sure he must have asked for your contact," Lucy clears her throat and smile.

"You’re wrong, my dear. What do you mean by that?" Clara asked, feigning ignorance as if she doesn't understand what Lucy is talking about.

Lucy gave her a sly look. "Everyone knows you’re the most beautiful lady here. No man would pass you by without looking twice."

"Huh!" Clara scoffed. "I don’t think so." Perhaps, We're all beautiful

"If you can't tell Lucy, at least talk to me. "Emily said

"You're just too selfish". Lucy said angrily

"You two talk too much." Clara smiled, then added, "Alright. Let me be honest. He asked for my name and contact."

Emily’s face shifted for a second. "Oh? Really?"

"Sure," Clara replied.

"Wow, that’s nice," Lucy said happily.

Emily forced a smile. "She is lucky, right?"

Just then, the assistant manager, Jamie, walked in.

"What are you all doing here instead of working?" she barked.

Clara stuttered, "We… I…"

"Nothing, ma," Lucy said.

"We’re sorry, ma," Emily added quickly.

"Leave right now!" Jamie yelled.

"Okay, ma," Clara said.

"We’re sorry," Lucy added

"Let’s go," Emily muttered, leading them away.

Jamie shook her head. "Those fools. Chatting when others are working…"
