Everyone was looking at the gorgeous girl , with her cold gaze, and serious expression,her shiny black her flowed behind her , and her body moved with quiet confidence . Walking through the halls of U.A , she assumed everyone was stressed —t was the first day after all , she entered the classroom calmly , her eyes scanning the scene

a tall , handsome boy , with spiky blond hair , perfect build and deep voice , was yelling across the room “ you brat .. DID YOU think you could beat me ?”

She didnt flinch . Unbothered she walked inside , searching for an empty seat most desks were taken—bags laid across them to reserve spots , she spotted one free chair , but it was close to the argument , she sigh she made her way over , brushing past him slightly as she tried to sit down

Silence fell over the room , a wave of intense , angry energy filled the air as he slammed his hand down on her desk and leaned towards her ,his voice dropped dangerously “ you bastard … how dare you touch me”

she turned her cold eyes towards him , which only seemed to provoke him “ I’m not a big fan of touching people” she said coldly , “but you were blocking the way ”

“ i think you need to know your place , if you’re going to sit here” he shot back

“ you can’t hurt me , do whatever you want” she replied unfazed.

That was the last straw , he lost his control , grabbed her by the collar and lifted her with ease ,she was shocked by how fast and strong he was, but she quickly swung her body and kicked him hard in his stomach , the kick was powerful enough to make him drop her

he smirk“ huh” then lunged again ,his hands grabbed her shoulders ,and just as she lifted her leg to counterattack , her balance was swept away . He knocked her other leg out from under her , she crashed to the ground and before she could react he was on top of her —one knee pressing down her , pinning her in place , one hand around her throat , his smirk returned , but then their eyes were locked

his red eyes searched hers , stunned by how cold and unreadable they were ,and for the first time she didn’t feel disgusted by someone touching her ,which was weird because she hated being touched by anyone

then a voice cut through the room “ bakugo having troubles to beat a girl this is hilarious!”

Bakugo’s jaw clenched, without thinking he tightened his grip on her neck shouting back at the person who mocked him , she began to cough , chock under the pressure

Realizing what he was doing , he released her , she pushed herself up and stormed out of the classroom, barely able to breathe , she ran to the bathroom , leaning over the sink , gasping for air , steadying her hands

the bell rang , Class had begun , and by the time she returned , aizawa sensei refused to let her in for bring late

she left the class again , she wandered the halls in silence , wondering about that boy named “ bakugo” .

The day ended , she returned home , to her small two rooms apartment ,she lived alone , and though she was exhausted , she couldn’t stop the fear settling in her chest, she didn’t want to get close to anyone , she didn’t want anyone inside her life and she decided to avoid bakugo , because he may cause problems to her .

She didn’t speak to bakugo for an entire week after the chocking incident , they sat beside each other in class , and though he often glanced her way , he didn’t care about starting a conversation he was just wondering about her

Meanwhile,she continued to slack on assignments , aizawa sensei noticed —and since she’d skipped the first class , he gave her extra work to make up for it , the entire class knew this was bakugo’s fault but no one said

Annoyed but determined, she decided to stay late and finish her assignments at school .

As sun set ,she remained alone in the classroom then she heard footsteps

Bakugo ..

he entered clearly not expecting her

“you’re still here , huh” he muttered

“don’t worry I’m not here to fight” she replied without looking at him

“tch , like you could win” he replied

she glanced up slowly “atleast i don’t go around choking people”

he stepped closer , leans against her desk and spoke quietly “Didn’t mean to hurt you” , she didn’t answer , he leans closer “i just wanted to shut you up, brat ”

“shut me up ? I heared the person who was making fun of you , i know you did that because you were angry and i also know that you didn’t mean to” she replied

“huuh,you know all of that , so why are you still avoiding me” he asked

“I didn’t thought you would notice … anyways I’m not avoiding you because of that fight”

he didn’t respond

she continued “i just don’t want you in my life , and don’t ask why because I won’t answer”

“Tch, like i asked to be in it” he replied , “you’re thinking you’re the only one who doesn’t want anyone around?” he continued , leaning even closer now , he was scanning her face like he was trying to read something she was hiding

“i really don’t understand you” she replied quietly,

“you don’t have to” he replied in a low voice , then he took his notebook and left the class , she was staring at the door understanding that this boy won’t leave her alone .

She finished her assignment and walked home ,but something didn’t feel right ,A strange sensation crawled up her spine, a quiet warning in her gut

on the other side of the street bakugo was following her—but kept a careful distance between them , he knew she was sharp enough —sense someone nearby if he got too close, she entered the apartment complex, bakugo noticed an old man standing at the security post,his face was kind and familiar.

he stopped following her and approached the man , “ oohh , that girl is the sweetest one here , she have a pretty smile , she is always polite ,always quiet,but ….her heart is broken , she has been living here for three years , and in all that time not once has anyone came to visit her ,she’s always alone , i don’t know what happened to her family” answered the old man , bakugo didn’t respond , “but lately…..”continued the old man “i’ve got a bad feeling something is gonna happen to her”

“what do you mean?”asked Bakugo.

She entered her apartment , changed into loose, tiny shorts and a crop top that hugged just enough effortlessly bold,and completely unbothered.

Suddenly she started hearing weird noises , she moved towards the door, cautious , it flew open , a man stood there his eyes scanned her slowly and disturbingly

“what the fuck are you doing here !!?” She snapped ,her voice sharp and hostile

the man didn’t answer , instead the hallway filled , one by one , ten more men stepped inside, two young ladies and a woman followed

her eyes locked on the woman “wait…. Aren’t you my neighbor” , she looked at her realising what is going on “WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE” she shouted

the woman only smirked

The man glanced around the room with cruel boredom, then sneered “do your job ,men” , the men moved slowly surrounding her

“touch me, and i will break your hands”

one lunged forward.in a flash, her knee slammed into his stomach , Another reached out—she twisted his arm and flipped him over her shoulder, a punch at the jaw , a kick to the ribs , she was fighting 10 men in the same time .

Her neighbor stood frozen , jaw dropped “How is she …. This strong” whispered the woman .

But ten was still ten

they grabbed her , cornering her “get OFF ME” she screamed

The women and man were stealing. They unplugged her fridge, shoved her books and cash into bags , even yanked her mirror off the wall.

A man was trying to touch her body , she dug her nails into his face , she grabbed the leg of a broken table and swung it into the room , breathing hard

but a huge man slammed her against the wall with his weight his hand wrapped around her mouth , speaking next to her ear “what do you think is more interesting than this body” , his hand moved slowely , hovering near her chest like he owned her , she couldn’t breath well because his hand is around her mouth , he smirked “let’s see what you’re hiding in under this—

but she acted first ,she raised her leg twisted it around his neck and climbed up onto his shoulders , she grabbed a glass jar and smash it over his head , she jumped down , cracked his arm with a loud “kreek” —his arm is broken ,then she punched him in his nose , the man fall down

the other men froze in shock . Breathing hard she screamed “if anyone DARES to touch me again —I’LL KILL HIM” , her voice was feral

“don’t worry guys she can’t do anything, she’s trying to scare you” the man who was stealing said .

The men ran towards her , but she’d lost all self control, she was done holding back , so she decided to get rid of them in her own , she reached a knife —

An explosion tore through the room , smoke .shattered walls and from the shadows a figure appeared ,red burning eyes, yeah it’s …

BAKUGO

the men charged at him,he didn’t flinch , He destroyed them all in under a minute

“Hey, what the hell is going on in here” shouted the man who had been looting , bakugo moved into the other room ,she followed him

“who the hell are you” said the man , bakugo didn’t answer , he grabbed him by the collar and slammed him to the ground “you want to taste pain , don’t you” said with a deep ,sharp voice ,

“please! ,please don’t hurt me—i will leave , i swear” said the man in fear

“too late” bakugo punched him in the jaw .Again and again until the man passed out cold , the 2 young ladies ran away , her neighbor was trying to escape too , but she caught her

Her punches landed hard and fast the woman collapsed but she didn’t stop , she raised the knife, she was going to stab her—

Bakugo grabbed her wrist , took the knife “that’s enough” he said ,quiet but serious

she looked at him breathless , “why are you here? were you following me?” she asked

“i was , and I arrived too late” he admitted

“how did you know that something is going to happen” she asked

“the security guard told me—that your neighbor’s been acting weird …. always staring at you when you leave ,and tonight — she came in with alot of men” he answered

“hmm” she said

Silence.

“get your things” he said “you’re coming with me” ,

“coming with you ? , why? where?” She asked

“this place is destroyed , you can’t stay here” he replied

“Where?” She asked again sharper

“you will find out when we get there” he said simply “ah , one more thing” ,

“what?” She said

“what’s your name?”

“it’s Rina— don’t call me with my name anyways” she answered with a quiet voice .

He didn’t respond.

In their way .

They walked side by side in silence, the streets were empty , washed in the soft glow of streetlights, the buzz of what just happened still clung to the air , but neither of them brought it up .she walked with her head high ,arms folded,No limp ,No stumble , like nothing happened, she had fought tooth and nail , outnumbered and cornered—and still didn’t break . No one would’ve blamed her for crying, but she didn’t, she wouldn’t

“You walk like you didn’t just beat the shit outta ten guys” bakugo muttered

“I didn’t break anything” she said glancing to him “except maybe a few ribs . Not mine”.

He almost smirked

But then she winced . Just a little . Almost invisible. Her arm brushing her side like she thought he wouldn’t notice

He did

Bakugo stopped walking

She kept going a few steps more before realising “what?”

“Give me your bag”

“No.”

“You’re hurt”

“I’m fine”

“Stop lying”

She huffed , rolling her eyes “ you gonna carry me next?”

He stepped forward without warning and slung her bag off her shoulder . She barely had time to react before he was already walking again , tossing it over his shoulder like it weighed nothing .

She stared at him “you really think i need help?”

“No” he said without looking back “that’s not the point”

“Then what is the point”

He didn’t answer right away . Just walked . Then in a low voice “ you don’t gotta act like it didn’t happen”

“I’m not acting”

He stopped again.

“You didn’t cry not even when that bastard—“ his jaw tightened “not even when it got bad”

She looked away “crying doesn’t change anything”

He took a deep breath, then said “No but pretending it didn’t hurt doesn’t either”

“I’m not pretending, it really didn’t hurt”

He didn’t respond , he looked at the sky , wondering—is her feelings locked inside of her or she is trying to hide it , or maybe both

After a few minutes .

He stopped walking “we arrived”.

She froze at the sight of the huge place looming in front of her “ wait this isn’t what i’m thinking—right” .
