Chapter 1
Once, there were four friends named Mia, Ava, Noah, and Sophie. So far, they had been to many trips together but, this was their first forest-hiking trip…
“Hey guys! I am hungry.” said Noah. “It’s just the starting of our journey Noah!” said Sophie. “Don’t worry Noah, I have a lots of food in my bag to eat.” mentioned Ava. “But we can also have that food later, right?” remarked Mia. After this discussion, they continued hiking deeper into the forest.
“Hey! Do you see that tree? Isn’t it looking a bit weird.” mumbled Mia. Mia walked towards the tree and started knocking on it. While knocking, they heard a loud cranky noise. “What’s that noise about.” asked Sophie. “This feels like metal!” exclaimed Mia. Just then, Ava’s eyes rolled on the tree’s branches. “Look carefully at the tree’s branches. I see a key hanging on it.” observed Ava. Suddenly, a small piece of paper falls on Noah’s head.
“Look, there’s something written on it!” exclaimed Mia. “Find something to put somewhere, but beware…” reads Noah. “ Beware of what?” asks Ava. “The note is smudged.” answers Noah. “What do we do now.” asks Sophie. “I think we should pluck out the key, and find a keyhole to put it in.” replied Ava. Suddenly, the middle part of the tree started glowing, they understood that it is the keyhole. “Look, There’s a keyhole.” exclaims Noah. Sophie plucks out the key from the branch and gives it to Noah to put it in. Just as she puts the key in the keyhole, a bright white light flashes from the tree and they disappear.
