"It was a very beautiful but very incomplete story. I know the idea of "I can handle everything on my own, I don't need anyone" well... I think that was the reason she couldn't transform into her wolf. And the concept of a hybrid wolf seems more logical than a secret wolf. The ending also felt a bit rushed. I would have liked to read about the completion of the mating bond, the pack seeing her wolf form, the two packs becoming friends with the rejected girl returning to her mate, a baby... things like that. It felt like an attempt to normalize wolves becoming more human, like assimilation. Whereas a shared future where humans can also respect nature is better. Also, was the girl's mother or father a wolf? Did her mother know her husband was a wolf and run away, or did her mother, who was also a secret wolf, reject him? I would have liked to read something about that as well."
