"Thus was a decent story. It's short, no unnecessary details to clog up the plot, but also leaves out some necessary details. What's a sylph for example, what's a hearts Excalibur? I assume it's a knife or dagger used by the sylph to mark her mate. There's no mystery where the plot is going, nor does there need to be in this version. I read that the author intends on rewriting it but I'm not sure it needs it. Sometimes simplicity is best. "
