"I don't have much time to read, and I'm picky about what I read. Novels have to catch my attention straight away and hold it. This story does that. A chapter or two of this novel is like a banquet. If you're limited to reading for a short while, it fills you up. I'm impressed with the poetic style of the author. The workings of Wei Xian's mind and the backdrop of the fortress are beautifully described. I suggest trying this novel, you'll find yourself involved before you know it. Smithy."
