In the end justice

"The story line is really good. There is lots of tension all the way to the end. I'm not a particular fan of the author's writing style. I don't appreciate what I'm sure she feels are 'hooks' for the next chapter. I look at them as Cliff Notes. Why read the next chapter if the hints are there and it isn't hard to figure out what will happen. The male main character is cruel all the way through till close to the end...very good job in creating a complete monster. I do understand their uniting for justice in the end but personally his wife has no self esteem or self respect to let him off the hook providing excuses for his extreme cruelty. All in all this plot wasn't my cup of tea. The story itself was well written minus the hints."
