Chapter 1: The Hunting Forest

In 1984, the small town near the edge of the woods had always whispered rumors about the dark, foreboding forest. It was a place no one dared to go after sundown. But for Rūh, a shy girl who had suffered years of bullying in middle school, the forest was her refuge. Every day, after the cruel taunts and mockery at school, she would retreat to its depths, where the trees stood tall and silent, offering her the peace she desperately needed. Rūh was never one to fight back. She kept to herself, her eyes always cast down, her voice barely a whisper. The other students at her school called her weak, calling her "ghost" because she always seemed to fade into the background. But in the forest, she was different. The rustling of leaves and the whisper of the wind in the branches soothed her, made her feel alive in a way nothing else did.

She would often walk for hours, her thoughts lost in the silence, until the pain of her loneliness became too much to bear. She would sit on a fallen log or lean against the rough bark of an old tree, letting the tears fall, hiding her sorrow among the shadows.

But what she didn’t know was that the forest was no ordinary place. It was ancient, filled with memories and spirits long forgotten. And when Rūh’s heart broke, when the pain of rejection and torment became too much, she unknowingly awakened something that had been lying dormant for years. One evening, as the sun began to set and cast long shadows across the forest floor, Rūh made her way back home. She had spent the day wandering aimlessly, the weight of her broken heart pushing her deeper into the woods. She didn’t see the car speeding down the road, and before she could even register the sound of tires screeching, the world went black.he accident was tragic. Her life, cut short before she could ever leave the pain behind. Her body was found on the side of the road, but her spirit? Her spirit would never leave the forest.
