The Meaning Of Easter

What does Easter truly mean to humanity in the year 2025? Jesus did not die for our sin because it’s impossible to sin against God. Then how can he be called the Way, the Truth, and the Light? Because of the book he wrote via the “inner dictations” Helen Schucman received when writing A Course In Miracles over seven years from 1965 to 1972. I’m 72 and when a toddler my mother taught a little prayer, “Now I lay me down to sleep, and I pray to the Lord my soul to keep, if I should die before I awake, I pray to the Lord my soul to take.” From a very young age the belief in a Higher Power was deeply ingrained. Young friends would ask, “Yeah, where did God come from? I don’t believe any of it.” I certainly couldn’t answer that question but silently retained my belief that God simply Is. Sin means wrongdoing which humanity certainly does to one another 24/7. When looking at the wars, corruption, pollution, crimes, prisons, hates, lies and fears we must ask, “Where is this God?” According to ACIM, not here.

In school, we’re taught the Big Bang is the reason for all existence. The thinking that everything came from nothing has never made any rational sense. We’re also taught that God made a place of eternal torment known as Hell which is also logically false. In 380 AD Christianity became the official religion of Rome and the development of Hell as a structured doctrine evolved over centuries, influenced by theological interpretations and cultural beliefs. The following is not supported by any historical evidence but “What if?” What if scholars following the advice of politicians came up with this lie as a means to control the populace? Looking at the massive wealth of the Catholic Church today the idea seems to have worked pretty well. The Course informs that Jesus himself said his dying for sin is an unfortunate misunderstanding and his death means nothing. However, his resurrection is very true and means everything, for he proved death is an illusion. Now you may think, there is no proof of his resurrection. I agree, however his body has never been found, and the reason Easter is still celebrated after 2000 years is because it’s true. According to the Biblical Archaeology Society, the tomb of Jesus was sealed with a stone. The archaeological evidence suggests that his tomb was the unused one of Joseph of Arimathea and would have been sealed with a cork-shaped stone. 98% of stones used to close tombs in that era were square block stones. These were simple slabs shaped something like a bolt, with one end designed to provide a close fit for the small opening forming the doorway. The larger remainder of the stone had a flange, so it would rest against the outside surface. Other researchers believe Jesus’s tomb was sealed with a circular stone that slid into a groove. These stones weighed tons how could 3 women possibly move these?

Jesus’s name is not Jesus Christ it’s Jesus of Nazareth, he was the first to perfectly understand the truth of being One with Christ, as is all humanity. One of his last statements while being crucified was, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Let’s say you’re watching your wife horribly moan while she’s experiencing an insane nightmare. Would you abruptly awaken her knowing how easily she’s startled? No, and after watching her slowly awaken you ask what the dream had been about. She explains she’d been a mass murderer who enjoyed slowly torturing victims before granting the release of death. Did she sin against God? Absolutely not because she was only dreaming. The reason Jesus said this was to place into the collective human consciousness the extreme importance of forgiveness. He knew God sees nothing to forgive because we’re dreaming in the Heaven we’ve never left. When we forgive others, we’re really forgiving ourselves for our insane subconscious fear of God. The following is the logical truth.

There is no beginning or ending but only the eternal Now, which The Course refers to as the Holy Instant. When we live in the moment and accept the Atonement (At-One-Ment) for ourselves we’re agreeing with the truth that we’ve never been separate from God. This is not conjecture or belief but fact. We’re all bipolar, the right side of our mind is based on spirit and love. The wrong side is based on ego and fear. So, what is our ego? The false belief that we’ve forever separated ourselves from the Divine because of an unanswered question. God’s first creation was Christ because for love to grow it must be shared. Source’s very nature is One of complete extension, meaning all God Is, Christ Is. So, Who is Christ? All of us. Deep in our forgotten subconscious memory we asked God a question that was like, “What else is there?” For the first time God did not answer because there is nothing else, but the perfect dimension of Heaven made for us. Christ entered into a dream state of illusion and the Big Bang occurred for one reason. Fear, a previous unknown. God understood Christ’s immensely powerful Mind was somewhere else, i.e., dreaming, because They were no longer communicating. Now the Big Bang makes sense because of the supreme intelligence behind it. Even here in our dream we see “mirrors” of the perfection of Heaven. Consider the harmony of nature and the forces that reflect God’s Love for all life. Thus, the reason a rose blooms at the perfect time, a spider spins an intricate web, flocks of birds migrate at the exact right moment and the changing seasons for the balance of life. We witness the expanding galaxies and universes for the one reason of remembering eternity and God. The reason everything and everyone in our dream eventually dies is because all was made due to Christ’s insane fear. The reason that nothing in our true Reality of Heaven dies is because all was made because of Love. God’s Love. What is the solution to the fine mess we’ve made? God’s second creation of the Holy Spirit. Source perfectly understood that to enter Christ’s overwhelming dream there was also a possibility of forgetting Heaven. The Voice for God was created with the perfect ability to view Christ’s imperfect dream while simultaneously viewing God’s perfect Heaven. The Holy Spirit caused Christ to remember God’s Love, and He awoke in the Heaven He’d never left. And so, it is with us. All eight billion minds today have the same Spirit within quietly helping us to choose God’s Love over our ego’s fear. We are all split off parts of the One Christ Mind and each part is a container of the Whole. When the last mind awakens this false universe will vanish into the nothingness from which it came, and we’ll awaken in the Heaven we’ve never left. What are we going to do forever? Learn all God’s Love would have us know, which is everything. God Is. Bob

A Course In Miracles Core Beliefs

1. This world is not real. God did not create this world nor even know of its existence. The entire universe is an illusion dreamt by the Son of God.

2. Pure non-duality: Anything that comes from God must be exactly like Him. God could not create anything that is not perfect, or else He wouldn’t be perfect.

3. Consciousness is the domain of the ego and was conceived after we dreamt of separation.

4. Spirit is unchanging, perfect, and eternal. This is the state of Heaven.

5. Truth is not different for everyone. Truth is truth.

6. There are no levels in Heaven. All conflict arises from the concept of levels. We are either enlightened and back in Reality with God or still dreaming of separation. Only life in Heaven is real.

7. Life in all its myriad forms or possibilities is already scripted at the instant of separation. The only choice is in our mind, where we decide to identify with the Holy Spirit or with the ego, when interpreting each moment.

8. Life in this world is insane. Nothing makes sense in this world. The world was made as an attack on God.

9. There is only one higher self, the Holy Spirit. Also known as the Voice for God, our memory of God, or the reflection of God’s Love in our dream.

10. Collectively, we are the Son of God. God created only One Son of God.

11. There is no evil or devil, only illusory madness projected by our ego mind and thankfully, they are not real.

12. Every attack is an attack upon ourselves. We project our unconscious guilt onto (dream) figures or situations that seemingly attack us. So now they are guilty, not us. The cause of our guilt arises from our imagined separation from God.

13. Life is a lesson. Every opportunity is used by the Holy Spirit to teach forgiveness to undo the ego mind.

14. Time and space are illusions, and Spirit has nothing to do with them.
