Chapter 1: A VISIT TO THE GRAVEYARD

The frowning clouds were dyed grey as the wind wringgled coldly as though one has tresspassed it fortified tower .The trees swayed, the leaves rustled, creating a melodious sound. The atmosphere was calm, and refreshing.

In this whole ordeal a lonesome figure with a pair of blue heels,a high waist navy blue skirt with a black leather hoodie draped on the shoulder and hands tucked in her pocket was oblivious to all this. Her curly jet black hair flowed with a warm gentle elegence that made her seem unyielding with a touch of frailness. Her nose stood tall with a plum

Suddenly a ringtone disrupted this serene atmosphere.

She retrieved the phone and frowned slightly as she glanced the caller id

"Speak,am listening"

A slightly calm masculine tone could be heard.

"Miss, the old sir is up and seeks to see you. However....."

"Am listening,so spill it out Kino"

Her voice turned cold as though her patience was running out

" The old sir said Mr. Gregson had been back so the..."

"Ohh, I see. Tell grandfather I said I will be there with him in a while so he might as well as rest. If there is nothing else, am off" She straightened her back and neck maintaining a straight composure. Her pitch black eyes shone with determination with slight unobservable warmth as she stared at the void.

With that the call ended.

" Hmm"

I marched forward to my parents graves. My eyes stung again and even after two years I still felt that all this was yesterday course it hurt soo badly.

I halted infront of their graves and took in a deep breath to keep my emotions in check, I tried not to break down. I removed the old wreath and cleared the leaves. I knelt down as tears welled up in my eyes."Try not to cry, you are tough, you mustn't shed tears. Not yet" I told my self.

Ehh what the a joke, who was i kidding.

"Paa, ma... Grandpa, is now fine and well but he is aging too quickly..sob.." with bloodshot eyes,my tears flowed freely.

"Your princess is trying to pull through all this. Am strong so don't worry about me.. sob.. but you know,paa... You.. you had said nothing stays forever and ..I .. sob..sob..I must cherish all that I have sake life ain't forever kept. sob.. I feel pathetic and lonely ...sob..if granpa.. he can't.."

As though her surroundings felt her pain and sadness... The atmosphere was dense and suffocating laced with thick layer of sadness and sorrow.

I poured my heart out to my parents.

After what seemed like forever, I stood up with red eyes. I could feel that they were swollen. My nose and cheeks am sure was all red.. I gathered my emotions in place and took a deep breath as I looked at the dark sky to suppress my feelings and dark thoughts. I sighed

"Not all has being lost,we must keep moving as long as there is life, mom,... I remember this"

I turned and ambled towards my car. I got inside and started the car.. I rolled the glass down to let the air blow me. To cool off my head.

On the cold road the Nissan drove at a ghasty speed. I wore my earphones and looked straight ahead with emotions seemingly detached from the world.

"I will pull through this"
