I disliked the fact that Hunter was so blind to the fact that he couldn't see how Anika was being treated and humiliated. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone who loves to read about werewolves or lycans."
Engaging story with characters that resonate
"I'm enjoying the story so far. I’d love to see Jasmine’s scheming exposed soon. She’s already moved from blackmail and conniving to outright attempted murder, and it feels like the right time for her to be exposed. I’m more conflicted about Hunter. He was a truly awful partner, believing his mother and Jasmine over his own wife, and for a long time it was hard to root for him. But he’s shown real growth—taking over Neo’s caregiving and being present for his nephew. While it's definitely too late for any reconciliation between him and Anika, I hope he still gets the chance to come full circle. I’d like to see him move on from pining after Anika as the one who got away, redeem himself, and eventually build a real relationship with his daughter. Maybe I just have a soft spot for morally grey characters but I'm crossing fingers for Hunter's redemption. This story has drawn me in and I'm looking forward to the chapter updates."
