Wings of Hope
The city afternoon was unusually quiet, a temporary calm before the coming battle with AFO. In the cozy apartment of the winged hero, Hana Todoroki and Keigo Takami sat together. Gentle, low light filled the room, and the television ran a favorite show that entranced them both; however, the atmosphere changed as Keigo’s beastly nature began to surface, surrounded by a burning heat that was growing progressively difficult to keep at bay.

But over time, something in Keigo started to shift. A spark of longing flickered in his chest, a reflex from an almost primitive urge to exert self-control. He could not help but gaze at Hana's face, where there appeared a soft pink flush on one cheek in contrast with the pallor of the other, her blue eyes glimmering with wonder.
“Little flower. no. once I start, I cannot stop,” he breathed, drawing back from the kiss that was starting to bind them together.
Hana, sitting on him, smiled as she watched him intently.
“Keigo. I get it,” she declared firmly. “I know I'm younger—only 16 years old—while you, aged 23, a hero in your profession.”
"But let me finish my thought," her eyes sent a very clear message: she was not keen on being interrupted again… "The doctors told me that because of my condition, I can't have children. If that's any consolation to you."
That vow strengthened the resolve of each to pursue his most genuine desires. Passionately they kissed, stoking the flames of desire, the thrust of tongues in a fierce hold. For a fleeting instant, the world outside of the apartment dissolved; all that existed was the radiance they shared, brought alive with the heat of contact.

Days passed and, in the wake of the tempest, the confrontation with AFO was inevitable. Combat left deep scars on the battlefields of hero and villain alike and pushed individuals into a fight for survival. Keigo, in his battle with the enemy, sacrificed not just his power but a shard of his very being.
With his wondrous wings torn from his back, he was left in a hospital bed, recovering with his comrades—heroes and students alike. This victory at such a great expense.
Elsewhere, in a physician's office, Hana received news that completely left her in shock.
"Miss Todoroki, do you know that you placed your life and your baby in danger to rescue a hero?" the doctor asked, his face solemn.
"What baby? I cannot be pregnant. I've been told that since I began menstruation," Hana answered, her confusion evident.
“Because of your quirk, getting pregnant is complicated, but sometimes it is possible. Maybe your heat period was specifically one of those moments,” the doctor commented, reviewing the tests. “You are 10 weeks along. It seems you and your baby wanted to protect Hawks at all costs. Congratulations.”
Struck speechless by the news, Hana let the news sink in within her. She automatically rested her hand on her abdomen, feeling something that was inexplicable to her.
"I have to see him," she stated firmly.
Arriving at Keigo’s room, she found the hero broken, but seeing him gave her strength.
"Hello, my vibrant bloom," he exclaimed softly. "I cannot take you along to soar to the destinations where you experienced the most delight."
“Keigo Takami!” Hana said, putting his hand on her belly and holding it gently there. “As for the destinations, I don't care about them at the moment. I just want to know that the most important things are that you're fine and that we get to go there all together,” she went on, crying—a tearful rarity for her.
"Hey, just breathe," Keigo told her, holding her in a warm hug. "Don't worry, I will figure something out; your health comes first."
"Did you tell your..." Keigo asked, his tone soft but serious.
Hana gave a nervous laugh.
"Would you care to have a roast chicken with my family? Only my mother would really understand that."
The body injuries healed in time, but the war had left deep scars in their hearts; however, they knew that they had weathered the worst together. Through the common experience, they created a new family and nurtured a life full of hope.

Eight years later, the house rang with laughter.
"Come on, Mom! Dad! Uncle Deku awaits at the park!" called out a little boy excitedly as he ran happily towards his parents.
Tenma, with wings inherited from her father—one as white as snow and the other as red as flame—had hair that mixed her father's blonde and her mother's white.
His eyes, a dazzling combination of blue and gold with characteristic markings, told of his heroic heritage as he shared stories that reflected the courage of a new generation ready to conquer the world.
—Your uncle Izuku will not move from there, my dear Tenma —said Hana, tugging down her coat.
Keigo, who was by her side, felt his chest swell with pride. The gold ring on Hana's finger glimmered, representing the joining of their lives.
—Your mom is right, champ —he said, crouching down to stroke his son’s head—. Later, we’re going to see them.
—To see grandpa Enji and the uncles! —Tenma exclaimed, super excited—. Let’s go, let’s go! As they walked side by side, standing there to behold the joy of their child leaping into the arms of a new day, Keigo and Hana looked back over the journey they shared. Though the shadows of war remained ever-present in them, a new dawn rose and called to them with the promise of hope and courage, and they saw that they would always have wings, though sometimes in the most surprising forms.
