Chapter 1 - Twisted beginning
The sun rises from the massive buildings of Kivotos, casting sun light through the glass windows of the buildings, the citizens of Kivotos are doing their daily works, cars driving through the road and some students walking to get to their School/Academy in time.
In a apartment, the sun light cast through the corridors and windows of the apartment, and there. Sunaookami Shiroko wakes up her halo activates as she wakes up, she sits up from her bed then stretches a bit then she step off of her bed, she opens her window and feels the breeze of the a new day, she says calmly "So, comfortable..."
7 minutes later, Shiroko is staring at the mirror fixing herself and wearing her Abydos High-school uniform, she pulls up her socks in her legs and combing her hair, she steps back and looks at herself in the mirror then she smiles. She grabs her SIG SG 550 strapping it on her back, stepping in front of the door checking the daily news in her phone while sipping a juice carton, she grabs her bike and exits her apartment locking the door and staring at the sun for 3 seconds before continuing.
The camera shifts through the buildings of Kivotos while a massive tv screen is attached on one of the buildings a reporter is reporting something, the reporter is saying
"After the president of the General Student Council is missing, the council had a hard time managing the chaos throughout the city, but thankfully it's all patched up and everything is back on peace..."
Then the camera shifts through a convenience store and Korumi Serika is walking towards the cashier holding a snack while her , she places the snacks in the table of the cashier and she says "And..." She checks her pocket money sees that she only has a dollar and her face went into blank and she says "Good...I ran out of money..." She releases a heavy sigh.
The scene shifts to a train, the sun light cast through the windows of the train, some people are chatting and inside is a lot of citizens, not crowded but minimize, and there is Izayoi Nonomi sitting in the seat holding a grocery bag while scrolling through her phone with a smile, while her M134 is placed besides her.
The scene shifts again, and Takanashi Hoshino is in alleyway, multiple cats approach her and she kneels down smiling at them and she says "Meow, meow, meow!"
The scene shifts once again, but now inside a bus, inside is Okusora Ayane sitting in the seat near the window, outside the bus is a Desertificated city of Abydos. Ayane is reading a book and the bus driver says "Next stop, Abydos High-school..." And Ayane snaps back to reality and she says "Wait! Stop!" She press a button and it makes a ding dong sound for some reason.
The scene shifts back to Shiroko, biking in the Desertificated roads of Abydos and in the background is a lot of buildings are covered or buried in the sand, the sun light glimmers,wind blows some of the sand and leaves 🌿
The scene shifts outside Abydos High-school, a Desertificated school, the windows are cracked, some sands are inside the hallways, and some of the walls are cracked. Inside in the 3rd floor of the building, the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force the remaining five students of Abydos are inside the room.
Hoshino, the team's leader and the president of the school is sitting in a chair with her head placed down in the table sleeping.
Meanwhile Ayane is explaining how will they pay the debt of the school right in the white board, she says while writing 'Foreclosure Task Force regular meeting' in the white board "Right! Time for our regular mee-"
Suddenly Serika burst into shock after Shiroko she's just biking from Kivotos to Abydos High-school every day except weekends, Serika says with shock and awe "Woah! So you're telling me that you bike from Kivotos to Abydos High-school?! That must be hundreds of kilometers!"
Shiroko says in a calm and cold tone while zipping her bag, and placing her rifle in the table "The view of Abydos is still beautiful to stare at mid-biking..."
Nonomi says, she press her hands together and says cheerfully "Looks like everyone had a good weekend!" She said that with a soft smile, meanwhile Serika replies to > Nonomi saying "How's your weekend then Nonomi?" She asks with curiosity.
Nonomi replies to Serika still smiling, then she pull up a wacky pose and says "I went to shopping!"
Flashback of Nonomi's weekend:
Nonomi is holding a golden credit card named "Super Credit card" she says while in her flashback she's showing the credit card to the cashier "I bought new snacks! Some necessities!"
Then it shifts through the gym with a muscular cashier flexing his muscles while looking at Nonomi holding the credit card and Nonomi says in the background of the flashback "And i bought 40 dumbbells!"
Serika and Ayane's expression went into blank after hearing Nonomi's weekend, meanwhile Shiroko looks at Serika and asks calmly with her expression is serious "You Serika...What are you doing during the weekend?"
Serika glance back at Shiroko, she starts sweating and she's feeling nervous amd she pull out a lie saying "W-Well...I went to the l-libary yesterday hehe..."
Ayane replies to Serika, she says while adjusting her glasses and holding her tablet "I was in the libary yesterday, and i didn't you there..."
Serika looks at Ayane with shock and nervousness and she says "Wh-what?! Are you in th-there?!...Well, i didn't see you as well..."
Suddenly, as Nonomi is about to speak, a meteor crash down in the center of Kivotos creating a massive shockwave that reaches through Abydos High-school.
Everyone got startled, Nonomi, Serika, Shiroko, and Ayane looks at the window and seeing a black smoke in Kivotos covering the sky with black clouds, and 23 more meteor hits Kivotos creating alot of shockwave and Serika says with a mixture of shock and disbelief "Woah! What happened?!" Ayane looks up in the sky and says "It looks like those meteor got somehow pulled by Earth's gravity and end up here..."
Shiroko looks at both of them and says "We should go to Kivotos and find it out..."
Serika and Ayane looks at each other with confidence and both looks at Shiroko and nods, meanwhile Nonomi is trying to wake up Hoshino, but Hoshino eventually wakes up, yawning and says "Nonomi...Why did you wake me up?..." Nonomi replies to Hoshino "There's multiple meteors struck Kivotos! We're going there!" Hoshino says feeling really sleepy grabbing her two-tone Beretta 1301 Tactical semi-automatic shotgun and collapsible ballistic shield, she says "Alright, alright...As long as i can nap after this, we're good..."
25 minutes later.
They reached Kivotos but it starts raining and the buildings are in ruins, some of the buildings had fallen, some cars are burnt down and some of it are crushed, dead bodies of civilians lay down in the roads, their organs are splattered around, the roads are cracked with some craters around, the water rains drips down from the fallen and destroyed buildings of Kivotos.
Shiroko is totally focused on her surroundings and she feels something is not right, she says calmly "I feel something is not right here..." She holds her rifle tight while looking around in the carnage that just happened all the sudden.
Serika replies to Shiroko while pointing her two-tone Beretta AR-70/223 assault rifle straight and looking around slightly nervous "Yeah...I feel it too, something is off and how did the people here even died?"
As they walk forward to the ruins, they hear gun fires and they quickly tracks the noise and sees Aliens with a 4 arms with claws, 2 legs with a long tail, rotting and decaying while facing off some survived police, they tear off the limbs of the police officers and starts feasting on them. Serika says while watching the carnage unfold "I think I'm gonna vomit!..." Meanwhile Shiroko and Hoshino just watch closely to the scene, they clearly knows better than facing this aliens unprepared.
Ayane and Nonomi looks up in the sky and sees that the sky turned blood red, Ayane says to Serika, Hoshino, and Shiroko "Guys...The sky... It's red!" Serika looks up in the sky and sees it, her eyes widen in fear and says "Wh-What's even happening?!" Hoshino says, looking at them with a serious expression "None of us has the answer...But-" suddenly a Chrysalis alien lunges behind her but luckily she reacts quickly and she blocks it using her shield, then they start shooting the alien, they hide behind covers while evading it's attacks, Serika is panicking her aims are bad she says "WHAT! What is that thing!" She rolls over a cover then starts shooting it's back, meanwhile Ayane says while hiding behind a destroyed car "We don't know! Just shoot it!..."
They continue shooting it dodging and evading it's attacks, the Alien leaps towards Hoshino but luckily she blocks it using her shield then she shot it's head and chest it leaves a bloody dent but the Alien didn't care and continue swinging it's claws at her, thankfully Nonomi shoots the Alien non-stop thanks to her M134, the Alien starts taking the bullets and stumble backwards, then Shiroko charges at the Alien she slam her rifle at it then kicks it off, then Hoshino shoots it's head causing its flesh to splattered across the ground, then Shiroko walks towards it strapping her rifle on her back and kneels down, analyzing the creature. She dip her fingers on its blood and it's more sticky and slimy than a Human's blood, she says with seriousness and stands up looking at them "I have no idea what are they and where they came from...But it can only mean one thing...Kivotos is being invaded..."
Ayane replies with nervousness and worry adjusting her glasses while holding her tablet "Guys...We should get out of here before more of them comes here and kill us..."
Hoshino says with seriousness as well holding her shield and shotgun tight and steady "Agree... It's better for us to leave before more came here and kill us, just like the rest of them..."
Everyone agreed, they start to walk street to street since some of the destroyed or fallen building had block the roads and alleyways, they went to various zones avoiding any Aliens they spotted, the rain became heavy so they take a shelter in a ruined building somewhere it Kivotos, Serika sigh and says tiredly "What's even happening!...First we saw meteorites hit Kivotos, then dead people that looks like they got slaughter, we even encounter and strange creature and nearly die!... I'm getting worried...Are we the last survivors?!" She slams her Assault rifle in one of the table, Nonomi sits down in the floor with her M134 in her lap, she's upset and looks up at them and says "Things just happened all the sudden...What do we do?"
Suddenly, a Alien crashed down in one of the Building's wall, and multiple 75 calibre rocket-propelled rounds hits it causing it its flesh to explode alongside with it's organs. Suddenly, a towering figure standing around 9ft tall and very bulky, wearing a Aegis-pattern terminator power armor emerges from the broken wall, it's armor is stained blood, holding a Nemesis Force Halberd on it's left hand and a Storm bolter mounted on his right arm, its head is a Aegis-pattern terminator helm, and he looks around at the Foreclosure Task Force holding their guns pointing it at him, and the figure says with a echoing metallic voice "Lower your weapons... I'm not a enemy"
Serika glares at him, pointing her Assault rifle at him, she says angrily "Are you one of them?! Or are you tricking us to believing you're not one of them?!"
The towering figure lowers his Nemesis Force Halberd and he raises his arms and says "I can feel you all are feeling worried...But worrying won't help...Let me introduce myself, my name is Bulwark..."
Shiroko notice that on Bulwark's left massive shoulder pauldron, there's a logo of Trinity General School anf she says cautiously "Are you from Trinity General School?..."
Bulwark nods and simply says "Yes, i am from Trinity, basically an ally..." Shiroko lowers her rifle, Hoshino lowers her shotgun, meanwhile Nonomi slowly but cautiously lowering her M134 as well as Ayane lowering her pistol. Serika looks at them confused and angry and says "What?! Guys! What are you doing! We can just believe on that guy! He might be one of them!"
Suddenly, multiple Aliens spots them, and Bulwark grabd her Nemesis Force Halberd and he says "Alright...If the 5 of you wants to survive...Then cover me by doing a fire support..." The blade of his Halberd crackles with psychic energy that looks like a electric, then he charges forward colliding with the 3 Aliens, he shoots the 4th alien charging towards Ayane then he swing his Nemesis Force Halberd to the 3 alien slicing their head off and continues fighting the rest. Meanwhile Shiroko, Serika, and Nonomi are behind a table, covering fire support to Bulwark, they're shooting and distracting 2 Aliens, Nonomi's M134 is able to pierce through the flesh of the Aliens meanwhile Ayane is analyzing the fight and redirecting Shiroko, Nonomi, Serika, and Hoshino's position, Ayane says and her worry and fear was replaced into confidence and seriousness "Shiroko! Nonomi! Move to the left side! Hoshino move front and Serika, back away! You'll be the dealer!"
The 4 of them follows Ayane's command, Shiroko sprints in the left side corner, using the broken bookshelves as her cover and she smacks a Alien leaping in front of her then starts shooting it's head killing it completely before continuing to support Bulwark, meanwhile Hoshino is blocking and dodging the attacks of the Aliens using her shield then shooting it's head and says "Too slow!"
Nonomi in the other hand is just firing barrage gun fire at the incoming Aliens shattering and tearing off their flesh thanks to her M134. She smiles cheerfully.
Serika is in the back, shooting the Aliens that are leaping on Bulwark with great accuracy, meanwhile Bulwark is blocking the Alien's attacks before stabbing it's head using his Halberd, another leaps on him but he catches it mid leap then slams it on the ground before stomping it's head and 5 more Aliens leaps on him but with one swing of his Halberd they got cut in half. After 5 minutes of battle, 75 aliens are dead in the ruined building they stayed in, Bulwark grabs the head of the last one and crushes it with his hands.
Shiroko, Ayane, Nonomi, Serika, and Hoshino walks out of their cover looking at each other happily that they vanquish this Aliens, but Bulwark looks at them, strapping the Nemesis Force Halberd in his back "Focus...This isn't over... There's still many of them scattered across Kivotos...And... I'm looking for a friend, her name is Ajitani Hifumi...My bestfriend..."
Suddenly, Nonomi says with shock "Wait! You're a friend of Hifumi?"
Bulwark nods and says "Yes, do you know her?" Nonomi nods happily and says "Yes! We are her friends!...We meet her in the Black Market when we're looking for a forbidden weapons that our enemies used, she was in the Black Market because she's looking for a Peroro Doll from Momo and friends series..."
Bulwark's expression is unknown because of his Aegis-pattern terminator helm but he says "I understand..."
Meanwhile Serika is still not trusting Bulwark, she's looking at him with unshakable glare, meanwhile Hoshino yawns and says "Yo, so your name is Bulwark because you introduced yourself to us lately...My name is Takanashi Hoshino a 3rd year student from Abydos High-school and the president of our club..." She points at Shiroko and she says "That's Sunaookami Shiroko, a 2nd year student from Abydos High-school, she's always serious and calm, i don't know why..." Then she points lazily at Nonomi and says "That's Izayoi Nonomi, a 2nd year student from Abydos High-school, she's very cheerful and caring... Literally, i always sleep on her lap before this events happen..." She points at Serika "That's Korumi Serika, a 1st year student, and i don't wanna explain her...Next-" she points at Ayane who's holding her Tablet on her chest and she says "That's Okusora Ayane...A first year student from Abydos High-school, we call her Smart fridge since she's smart and strategic at the same time..." She then looks up at Bulwark and says "And we are the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force!" Hoshino straps her shield on her back while holding her shotgun with both hands while in the background Nonomi is cheering Serika up, Hoshino says looking up at Bulwark with seriousness right now instead of a sleepy face "So, Bulwark...You look strong and it looks like you can keep up with alot of those Aliens...Can you join us?..."
Bulwark looks at them one by one and gives a thumbs up. But, this is just the beginning of this story, soon enough they'll see the true meaning of fear and despair. Despite the events are all that happens all the sudden, they will form a alliance in order to vanquish the Chrysalis the Alien invaders
