Wow. I’m finally here. A (self) published author. Not gonna lie it’s pretty weird. Though pretty awesome to finally breathe and say “I’m done.” Well, at least this one book. I have many plans for the future of the Ignition universe.
First things first, I want to thank YOU! The reader, who decided to buy this book. I really hope you find enjoyment from my first attempt in diving into my Sci-Fi universe!
However, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for some amazing people. My mom, besides the fact that I wouldn’t be able to create this book without her bringing me to life. She had always been caring and supportive of my life decisions and I could never thank her enough for that. Life, yes, I have a friend named Life. That is not a nickname. Anyway, Life has been with me since the beginning of this writing journey and has always been willing to kick me in the butt to write or help destroy writers’ block, even when bringing up random ideas out of nowhere. Just wanted to say thanks Life. Corbin, another great friend and also my roommate. He has always seemed to see the potential in my story telling, even when I don’t. Though it may not seem like much to some, hearing those words always gave me some confidence to keep going. Thank you Corbin. Bec, a wonderful friend and a fellow indie author. She has been a great source of help, whether it was being inspired by her own works or even just talking about writing in general. Thank you Bec. Jordy, thank you for also being there to support me when I doubted myself, Especially when we play video games (Which I know we need to play more.). Thank you Jordy. Josh, hearing this man talk about the many, many, MANY stories he’s read, it’s been a blast using them as inspiration to help my own writing (Plus I know I need to play games with you as well.) Thank you Josh.
And to those I didn’t mention here, you still helped me, even in small ways and I still want to thank you. Give yourself a pat on the back and I truly hope you all enjoy this story.
