The Fall of Bridgette
[As Bridgette nears the flag, the tower spins uncontrollably faster. She missteps, losing her balance.]
Bridgette (yelling): NO—!
[In a horrifying moment, she slips off the edge and plummets, unable to catch herself. The camera follows her descent in slow motion as the wind howls and suddenly everyone realised that this season is more serious than thr rest.]
[Bridgette hits the ground below with a sickening thud, a cloud of dust rising from the impact. The surrounding contestants freeze in shock.]
[Chris watches from the sidelines, his expression momentarily serious.]
Chris (grinning),trying to hide his excitement): Well, folks, looks like Bridgette is out of the game… for good. Let’s all give her a round of applause for going out with a bang.
[The other contestants stand in stunned silence. Gwen is the first to snap out of it.]
Gwen (coldly, under her breath): That was brutal.
[Tyler stumbles forward, shaking his head.]
Tyler (mumbling): It’s just a game… but she didn’t deserve that.
[Heather, who’s still at the top, eyes the flag but hesitates for a moment. She looks down at Bridgette’s motionless form and then back at the other contestants, showing no signs of sympathy.]
Heather (grimacing): Well, this is a competition. But it’s getting a little too real now.
[Chris finally announces the next part of the challenge.]
Chris: Alright, folks, while we all reflect on that… let’s keep things moving. Only the strongest will survive. Let’s see who’s still in it to win it.
[The other contestants, visibly shaken but trying to keep their composure, continue the challenge, with the atmosphere much more tense and somber.]
