Heartbreaking and Heartwarming
"This is a poignant short story, both heartbreaking in many ways, and heartwarming. From past wrongs needing to be righted, to broken hearts needing mending. It would have been nice to dive deeper into the backstory or the reasoning of Ben, but honestly, leaving it up to the reader to fill in the gaps from what is said and what is left unsaid works beautifully too."
