"Aside from some areas where a translation is missing, this book is raw. It's real and unapologetic. It holds your hand seeing you and not judging you. As someone who feels unseen and in the background, I can relate. I'm the soft-spoken peacekeeper instead of the loud one. There were many places when I was close to tears, heart open wide, hopeful, and cheering on the main character. Well done and great writing. "
Good start
"I like how you talk about emotional connection and being your real self. That aspect is amazing. But the things I didn't like- you are repeating yourself in almost every chapter. The word performative is there multiple times in every chapter. Not just words, ideas are repeated again and again. Seems a little reductive. Also the hindi in between is jarring. There are some beautiful scenes and moments and that holds the story together. You have potential. Hope you improve on the above. "
