THE ART OF WAITING

lili's POV (luina laiz)

I woke up today, with the sunlight hitting my face. I was still sleepy unless i realized that it was my high school's first day!. I got up in a hurry and excitement. I washed my face and got ready in my uniform. I rlly waited alot for this day..., I went downstairs after doing my hair, and there was the breakfast ready on the table. I had a little and went straight to the school.

(At school)

I finally got my classroom after searching for around 5 mins. I was kinda nervous and excited too. I was finally gonna meet my friends after a long vacation.

I stepped in the classroom with a deep breath and the first person i saw was my best friend Aiza taylifer, she was from a very high leveled and rich family but yet she didn't cared of me being poor. As i walked inside with my 4kg backpack, she came running to me and hugged, like no one ever did. That hug made me feel worth it.

I was always insecured about my family background as i thought that others wont like me if they find out.

Me and aiza talked for a moment and then our class teacher arrivied. "Good morning class" she said with lots of energy. Let me introduce myself, i am rayna luizi, ur class teacher for this academic year. She was very beautiful, especially her grey eyes.

As she was talking about starting the first chapter, my heart was paunding for no specific reason but maybe cuz i was in class 9th?. I have been a bookworm and the topper, but past 2 years, i was lacking behind. This year i hoped for everything to be alright.

Finally the first three periods were done and it was our recess. heyy lili, arent u hungry? Dont u wanna have some snacks?? Lets go to the cantine. Aiza said with excitemint..then we went down stairs together and thts where i saw my others friends too! Jaspri and cyra.

We weren't so close but we shook hands. Hey lili! How have u been?? U should have contacted me!. Huh?? What is she saying? A bully wanted me to contact her? But why! We arent even so close... And im sure she will leave me is she finds out my family background...umm yeah i wanted to contact but i didn't had ur number. I said with confusion. Lili lets go and have some snacks if you are done talking, said aiza. Ahum, yeah im done, lets go.

We got some snacks and sat on the table. Im really scared, what if aiza also leaves me when she finds out about me..? Ah i can never let it happen!!. Hey lili? What are you thinking so deep?. Aiza said wondering. Huh? me? Um nothing..i replied in confusion. Dont worry! I wont ever leave you, dont overthink about that! I promise you ,we'll be together for ever. Aiza said as she read my mind. That made me really happy, i was about to reply but the bell rang and we had to go back home..we grabbed our bags upstairs and went out. There was my father, came to pick me up. He wore a worn out tshirt with very old shorts. He came to me and everyone started staring at me cuz they realized i was from a poor house hold. Everyone started mumuring and cyra, the bully, was also there... Cyra hates when someone lies to her. And here me who told everyone that i was rich. Once cyra even almost killed a girl who didn't bought her water. Not only that, cyra was there with all her team. Ah what am i gonna do!!? Will cyra leave me.?? But im sure she will take action.
