Chapter 1. The Beginning
4 am Monday April 7 2025
First floor
Someone walks through the corridor(panicked).The bathroom door open and get closed.Its still somewhat dark outside.She looks up in the mirror,opens the tap of the basin and washes her face. She takes out a micro chip chews it and flushes it away.
Announcement made by the warden: Everyone are asked to gather at the ground floor.
The terrace is sealed.
Sunday 5 am april 6 2025
Room no.2. Alarm clock ticks
Amaya to Tiara:Tiara almost shouts Tiara
Tiara(with a low voice):What is it, why are you shouting its just 5 am.
Amaya:Its your turn for the bathroom do you remember we decided
Tiara(covers herself with the blanket):Its sunday chill
Amaya:I got it.It means again i am the the one to go for the bathroom
Amaya(in her thoughts):When will this fucking end?
6:30 am room no. 3 just opposite of room 2
Ruhi was still sleeping and asked trishna to wake her up before breakfast to which trishna agrees.
Trishna:But ruhi I have a bad news.
Ruhi:what? Don't tell me that.
Trishna(with a crooked smile):yup you are correct our power bank is dead.
Ruhi:oh no its sunday and .
Trishna:At night i will try charge it.
Room 4
Naina wakes up.She saw Preesha is still with her tab. She knew that she didnt sleep whole night watching movies which she find so boring that she might prefer to do calculus then to watch it with her.
Someone was knocking the door of room 4
Naina slaps Preeshas head and tells her to hide the tab and the headphones.
Naina opens the door.she saw that it was richa from room 1.
[Richa thinks she is the most beautiful person and she is made for miss universe]
Richa:What are you all doing?
Naina:why do you care?
Richa:you guys are mysterious. Ok leave it is it your stuff(shows her a keychain)
Naina:Yes its mine.
Richa:Ik you don't care for your face but atleast care for your stuff.
(Naina is short tempered. She hates being nagged at.)
Naina: If taking care means looking like you I prefer not to then.
Richa: You just can't match with my level.(Walks away)
Naina:You dropped something.
Richa: what but...!being interrupted)
Naina(points her fingers downward):Its your insult. Saying so she closed the door.
7 30 am Breakfast time
Everyone were fetching their breakfast just then a girl named Ishika pushed Kirti mistakely.
[Kirti is a sort of bully.]
Ishika with a low voice said S..sorry
Kirti looked at her bff Sanaya and said :oh she is saying sorry but i need something else ..your plate.
(No one wants to go against kirti.because they don't want troubles in their life)
Preesha thought :Not again. I wished i had my headphones.
Ishika:But you have yours
Kirti deliberately dropped her plate and looked at kirti and said oh i dropped mine i don't have to eat so yours is mine.
Warden: Whats happening here?
Kirti: we are just talking right Ishika
Ishika: Yes ma'am
Kirti:Thank you for your plate dear. Dont miss the lunch okay(gave a evil laugh)
Everyone went in their rooms.
Room 2
Tiara :What shall we do now sundays are quite boring. I wished something interesting could happen like treasure hunt or i wished i could watch netflix.
Amaya:You and your netflix.Btw we are bunking tomorrows chemistry class.
Tiara:But how?
Amaya:I will figure it out.
Tiara:Wait is that a band aid?
Amaya(a bit tensed):Nothing just a scratch.
Room 3
Trishna was studying and ruhi was over phone.
Ruhi(Scrolling her phone)These guys are really annoying.
Trishna:I think you should save your battery rather than watching some random guys
Ruhi:Just for few minutes.
Trishna:From these guys did you mean Rohan?
Ruhi:No..why did you bring him up?
Trishna:No it seemed he was kind of interested in you.
The day ended
After dinner 10 pm
Naina: I am going to bed.If warden comes and asks about me just tell her that I have headache
Preesha:Are you not feeling well.
Naina : Idk I feel like I will faint.
Preesha:Ok you sleep.
Richa was doing her skin care routine in her room.
Tiara :Will you stay up late?
Amaya:Mmm actually i have some stuff to do so yes.
Trishna:Ruhi at 12 I will go out and charge it.
At 12 all lights were almost off.
Trishna slowly without making a sound walks and went to the a room which was near the staircase where inverters were kept.Barely people came there so it was safe for her. She heard footsteps coming towards her.she caught the power bank and tried to hide.She saw flash and realised that it was ruhi.
Trishna(took a long breath)Ruhi what are you doing here?
Ruhi: Damm its 2 and more and you were not coming so i was worried.
Crack(A noise from upstairs)
Ruhi and Trishna became alert .
Ruhi: Whats that?
Trishna :lets go to our room.
They reached their room.
Ruhi : Trishna your hand how did you hurt yourself?
Trishna :Oh maybe while hiding not an issue lets sleep .
Lights off.
Sunday 4am april 7 2025
Amaya :Tiara did you hear the announcement . Lets go the hall.
Everyone on the ground floor moved to the hall. They were a bit surprised to see the police.
Amaya: Ma'am what is happening?
Warden (looked at their eyes and with remorse said):Kirti is dead.
