Lover's Paradise
Mayowa and Simi were two friends who had known each other all their lives to the point where everyone thought they would marry each other.
Mayowa, a tall handsome man with a built body that all the girls in his office often want to talk to. Simi also has an impressive set of points to her, beautiful and very well endowed, with all the perks that men around her flock to get to know better.
Mayowa and Simi grew up together in a remote part of Lagos, and they would often exchange toys, gifts, and they often joked with one another.
Mayowa eventually moved to Abuja when his Father got a job in an oil firm, and that was the moment were Simi knew that her long-time crush and friend would be far from her reach.
"Simi, I will miss you," Mayowa said, crying.
"Aha, Mayowa, we will see each other one day, possibly when we are adults and have good jobs, don't worry, fate will bring us together again," Simi said reassuringly.
"Can I kiss you?" Mayowa said, still crying.
"Okay, but on my cheeks, not my lips, please," Simi said, laughing.
Mayowa pecked Simi, and with a look of happiness, he blushed.
"Has your body now cooled down?" Simi said with a sarcastic tone.
"Yes, it has," Mayowa said, smiling.
"I have to go now, it seems my mum is calling me," Simi said, running to her house.
Mayowa waved to Simi as she departed.
Mayowa stayed in Abuja well into his teenage years, and at 25, he got a job as a Software Engineer at a startup firm.
Simi, who was two years younger than Mayowa, studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Ibadan and later got a job in Hearts Hospital in Lagos.
"Simi, you are truly a great asset at our Hospital, and I believe you deserve a promotion very soon," Adedeji said
Adedeji is the lead Doctor at Hearts Hospital and he had personally handpicked Simioluwa from the University of Ibadan were she studied her Bachealor's and Master's Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Ibadan.
"Thank you, sir, I have enjoyed working at Hearts Hospital," Simi said with a smile on her face.
Simi stepped into her office to start the day when her phone began to ring.
"Hello, who is speaking?" Simi asked as she picked up the phone.
"My girlfriend from my early years!" the caller said excitedly.
"Mayowa!!! Oh my God," Simi shouted with joy.
"Longest time, how are you?" Mayowa said with happiness.
"I have been doing fine o, and what about you?" Simi said.
"It has been a while, Simi, I will be coming into Lagos on Saturday and I would love to see you," Mayowa said.
"Okay, I will be free this Saturday, and it will be a pleasure to see you after such a long time," Simi said with a smile on her face.
The call ended as Simi reminisced on their early childhood days.
"Mayowa, na you I go marry o" Simi thought to herself as she got ready for work.
Simi closed for work for the day, and feeling tired, she bought shawarma and ice cream at Chicken Republic before heading home.
Simi picked up her phone and dialed her mother to tell her about the encounter she had with Mayowa.
"Mum, you won't believe who are spoke with this morning," Simi said.
"Who did you speak with, my dear?" Simi's mother said.
"Mayowa!!!" Simi said with excitement.
"Oh! I am the one who gave him your number," Simi's mother said.
"Really, how did he get your number then?" Simi said.
"Mayowa's Father called me and said that his son has been trying to speak with you, so Mayowa called me and I gave him your number," Simi's mother said.
"Hmmm, Mayowa, the intentional man. He asked me out on a date this Saturday, he is coming to Lagos this weekend," Simi said.
"Hmm, okay then, greet him for me," Simi's mother said.
"Goodnight, Mum," Simi said.
The call dropped, and Simi lay on her bed and slept off.
The weekend came around, and with excitement, Simi started trying on different clothes in anticipation of her date with Mayowa.
"Should I wear this skirt and blouse?" Simi said, looking at the mirror.
Her phone began to ring, and it was Mayowa on the line.
"Hey Handsome!" Simi said with a flirty tone
"Ah! Simi, you have not changed," Mayowa said, laughing
"Change to where now?" Simi said with a joking tone.
"I will pick you up by 5 pm," Mayowa said.
"I can't wait," Simi said
Simi dropped the phone and looked out the window, and with a breath of relief, she took in the morning air.
"Mayowa, I turned down many suitors just because of you," Simi said with a firm tone in her voice.
The Lagos evening mood began to settle gradually, and at 5 pm, Mayowa was already at the front door of Simi's apartment.
Simi wore a short black miniskirt and paired it with a red blouse and high heels, and her long legs showed.
Mayowa took one good look at Simi, and he began to imagine all the many possibilities with her.
"You look beautiful as ever, Simi," Mayowa said.
"Mayowa, and your dashing good looks have been consistent all this while," Simi said.
They both walked over to his car, and he held the door open for her like a typical gentleman.
They arrived at a restaurant in Ikoyi, and the air around them was inviting.
"So what do you do for work, Mayowa?" Simi asked as they ate their food.
"I work as a Software Engineer for a firm in Abuja, and I was transferred to Lagos for a month so I can supervise the new project for our next expansion into the Lagos Technology Market," Mayowa said.
"That seems nice and exciting," Simi said as she ate her food.
"How about you? What have you been up to?" Mayowa asked.
"I work as a Clinical Psychologist at Hearts Hospital," Simi said.
"That sounds nice and fulfilling," Mayowa said with a tone of excitement.
"So, how many girlfriends do you have, fine boy?" Simi asked with a laugh in her voice.
"No girl o, na only you I dey chase since" Mayowa said as he laughed as well.
They left the restaurant and, with a certain sense of joy in both their hearts, the spark that reconnected them had been ignited once again.
"Simi, there is something that I would like to tell you," Mayowa said as he parked his car in front of her apartment.
"Okay....go on," Simi said.
"You are the only girl that I have had my eye on all these years, and even when other girls came my way, I never even considered them for once, you are the only one I have eyes for," Mayowa said with a firm tone in his voice.
"Hmm, Mayowa Davids, na you steal my heart sha," Simi said as she leaned in closer to Mayowa.
In a moment of tense air, their lips began to get closer, and they started kissing in the car. Mayowa kissed Simi passionately as she slid his hands on her long legs and got close to her skirt.
"You are the only one for me, Simi," Mayowa said under his breath as they kissed in the car.
They pulled away after 5 minutes of intense kissing and making out.
"Wow, I never expected that," Simi said as she got her hair and lips together.
"Hmm, you are sweet sha," Mayowa said, laughing.
"Abeg let me step out of this car and sleep before you kill me with a kiss tonight," Simi said as she stepped out of the car.
"I will call you," Mayowa said as the car left the park.
Simi entered her room and, with so much joy and pleasure, she reflected on the makeout session she had with Mayowa.
"Hmmm, this boy sha," Simi said as she took off her clothes.
The next morning, Simi woke up in the morning with a sense of happiness in her heart, and she began to remember the intense moment that she shared with Mayowa.
"I have always known that Mayowa is the one, I just had to see him to confirm these crazy thoughts I have always had about him," Simi said to herself.
Her phone began to ring and she picked it up hastily.
"Hello, good morning, ma," the caller said
"Good morning, who am I speaking with?" Simi responded.
"My name is Tunji, I am one of your patients at Hearts Hospital. I want to see you concerning my Uncle," Tunji said.
"Okay, Tunji....I will see you by 9 am for our appointment," Simi replied.
The call dropped, and Simi prepared herself for work.
"So, your Uncle is experiencing a case of insomnia, which is really affecting his mental health and inevitably preventing him from sleeping well," Simi said to Tunji.
"Okay, I see, so that means we will need to get his medications right," Tunji replied, sounding concerned.
"Yes, but I need to see him so we can run some tests and properly diagnose and give him the right medications," Simi said.
"Okay, I will let him know so we can begin the process, thank you so much, Doctor Simi," Tunji said and left.
"Hmm, I feel like my head is about to explode," Simi said as she rubbed her head.
Simi still recollected the intense moment she shared with Mayowa, and she rested her head on her chair when someone at the door knocked.
"Yes, come in," Simi said.
"Hello, Doc!" Temi said.
"Oh, Temi, my babe, how far now?" Simi replied with a smile on her face.
"This one that you are looking at like this, were you daydreaming?" Temi said jokingly.
"Omo, it is Mayowa o" Simi said.
"Mayowa, Mayowa......Oh, Mayowa, your childhood crush," Temi said as she laughed.
"If you see the way this boy and I kissed yesterday, eh?" Simi said.
"Omo, this one na hot gist o" Temi said, pulling out her chair.
"Handsome Mayowa, hmmm," Simi reflected.
"But has officially called you his girlfriend," Temi said.
"No, not yet, sha, but hopefully he will," Simi said with a tone of worry.
At that moment, Simi's phone began to ring, and it was Mayowa on the line.
"Hey, babe," Simi said.
"Hmm, this one that you are using bedroom voice for me, am I safe?" Mayowa joked.
"Go jor!" Simi said, laughing.
"I am just remembering the moment we shared yesterday, and I would like us to see again," Mayowa said.
"Okay.....will Tuesday evening be good with you?" Simi replied.
"Yes, sounds perfect," Mayowa replied.
The call dropped, and Simi turned in her chair happily.
"Omo I go love o" Temi said, laughing.
On the night of Tuesday, Mayowa and Simi had a night out at a restaurant in Lekki, and they shared intimate moments full of laughter and fun.
"I want you to be mine, Simi, I want to be your boyfriend," Mayowa said with a soft tone.
"Oh my goodness, Mayowa, are you sure?" Simi replied.
"Much more than you ever know," Mayowa replied.
They leaned in close to each other, and as their lips met, they shared an intense and passionate kiss. Simi bit Mayowa's lips as they kissed, and it further intensified the moment they shared.
