Summary

Viviene Hart has built a full life as a thirty-five-year-old emergency nurse and single mother of three in Tacoma. After surviving divorce and abandonment, she is finally ready to admit that she wants to be seen as more than a caretaker. When Viviene joins an online medical community, she meets Regina Sinclair, a brilliant French pharmaceutical chemist and powerful CEO. Their playful debates become intimate conversations, and Regina’s attention awakens desires Viviene thought she had buried. But as their passionate connection deepens, Regina’s certainty begins to feel like expectation, and her devotion becomes entangled with control. Viviene must decide whether understanding the wounds that shaped Regina means continuing to be hurt by them. Resilient Hart is an emotionally layered sapphic romance about motherhood, complicated love, imperfect closure, and the courage to choose yourself without pretending the love you felt was never real.

Dedication

To every woman who has been made to feel like she was too much or never enough, this is for you.

For the mothers who give everything and are still told it is not enough. For the lovers who dared to follow their hearts, even when loving came with pain. For the survivors who lived inside control, confusion, and silence, yet still chose to speak, to rise, and to rebuild.

For every woman who loved someone whose feelings were real, but whose love could not offer safety, may you remember that understanding someone does not require you to remain where you are being hurt.

To the single mothers who carry the weight of the world and still find reasons to smile with their children. To the private hearts that write their dreams in the dark. To the women who love women, boldly, softly, and unapologetically.

I see you. I honor you.

May Resilient Hart remind you that a life can bloom after loss.

That healing is not a straight line, but a winding path shaped by courage, honesty, grief, and grace.

That choosing yourself does not erase the love you felt.

And that sometimes, the most powerful love story is the one you write for yourself.

With all my heart,

Phoenix Rose

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
