“Looks like you’ve got yourself a new little charity case. Didn’t know you were into lost causes.”

Mike’s smile vanished. “What’s your deal, Caleb? You’ve got nothing better to do than be a dick?”

Caleb ignored him, his gaze locking onto mine.

“Don’t waste your time on her, Mike,” he sneered. “She won’t even suck your dick, let alone fuck you. Not worth the effort.”

Laughter erupted around us. Heat rushed to my face, anger and humiliation burning.

Mike snapped, “You’re out of line, man. I’m not going to let you disrespect her like that.”

Caleb’s smirk vanished, his expression darkening.

“I’ll say whatever the fuck I want,” he muttered, stepping forward until he was nearly nose-to-nose with Mike. “So if I were you, I’d stay in your lane. You don’t know what you’re dealing with.”
