Daughter of war

Summary

Mya had always been a warrior — not in the literal sense, but in spirit. She loved climbing, heights, and danger. She felt truly free only on the edge of a cliff. But one moment of distraction ends in tragedy… She falls. She dies — or at least, that's what she thinks. During a climb, she suddenly slips from the rock face. She feels the impact, then darkness. But instead of emptiness and death, she opens her eyes — in the body of someone else. She feels strength she never knew. Sees the world sharper, clearer. She’s no longer herself. She’s someone new. A woman who, just moments before, died in a brutal battle. An Amazon. There’s no time for questions. Before she can make sense of what happened, she’s captured by Kaelan — a Centaur general and the fiercest enemy of the Amazons. He is ruthless, merciless, and hates her kind. But instead of killing her, he takes her prisoner. But if she discovers who her predecessor truly was… will she lose herself forever? Savage battles, ancient magic, and a world that shows no mercy to the weak.

Prologue

First, there was darkness — thick and all-encompassing, filling every thought.

There was no sound, no memory. Only a sense of suspension, hovering somewhere between dream and reality. She existed in a void, surrounded by nothing.

Then came the light.

Faint images flickered through her mind, like shadows smudged by time. Faces she didn’t recognise. Voices she couldn’t match any name. The clash of steel, screams, the thunder of hooves on hardened earth. War.

Pain.

Her eyes opened suddenly, wide with terror and confusion. She didn’t know where she was. She didn’t know who she was.

But she knew one thing.

Something had happened.

Something that has changed everything — forever.
