Chapter 1
Childhood – The Birthplace of Joy and Scars
Childhood. The beginning of it all. A time we often romanticize with laughter, playgrounds, and innocence. But beneath the surface, it’s a battlefield—where wonder dances with fear, and love sometimes wears the mask of neglect. It’s scraped knees, broken toys, the warmth of a parent’s embrace—or the cold absence of one. It’s learning to smile, speak, trust... and sometimes to survive.
“Childhood is where our wings are shaped—sometimes by love, sometimes by the weight of silence.” – N.B.
“The worst scars are the ones you collect before you even understand what pain is.” – N.B.
