A Story That Ended
I was unbothered... by you.
Your whole existence... felt not true.
You were not my type,
Not even close to my trip.
Remember then?
I was caught up with some other "thing."
You came, lured me in...
Not against my intentions. Willingly, this is where we begin.
Like starlight,
You suddenly caught my sight.
From "I don't care"...
To my holy affection,"I declare".
This is what you became:
In my domain and extension, you claimed your fame.
Day after day, I became your captive,
Engulfed by your love... though that was never the objective.
Maybe the tense of my emotions made you feel something subjective.
Turning tables... there were you, caving into your shell, being protective.
I won't deny... that was authentic.
Felt more serious...
Maybe not for you, but for my subconscious.
Just right when you became my globe,
I found myself vanishing in a loop...
Even trying to slope...
Didn't work for me. Believe me, I tried it in troops.
And God, that distance.
You kept saying, "it's you" .
That you were accustomed to avoidance.
You can't give more. You don't have abundance.
Consumed by all that,
alone and insecure...
Appeared the arms of another, to reassure.
You claimed I always wanted more.
But me?
I just wanted to be in your core.
It's okay, I take the blame...
For longing,
For you
to reciprocate the same.
But you know what? I won't carry the shame...
For looking for a shelter,
a sanctuary...
To save me from your emotions' boundary.
