Talia

Talia had always believed that art could speak the unspoken—the whispers of the heart, the quiet ache of a memory, the fragile beauty hidden in everyday moments. But lately, her canvas had been stubbornly silent, her brushes unable to capture the colours that danced just beyond her reach.

What is wrong ? She does not know .

Might have been the painful breakup . Ava’s breakup wasn’t about a dramatic fight or betrayal. It was the slow, quiet drifting apart that happens when two people want different things from life.

Her ex was ambitious and restless, always chasing the next big career move, while Ava longed for calm, connection, and space to create. Over time, the distance between their worlds grew until the love that once felt easy became strained and distant.

How to fix it ? She does not know that either.

Only one thing crossed her mind . Leave this place and start somewhere new.

Leaving behind the noise of the city and a love that had slipped through her fingers, she came to the coastal town seeking something else , she couldn’t yet name—maybe inspiration, maybe healing, or perhaps just the chance to listen to the rain and find herself again.

While she was leaving to the town , the last conversation with her ex, Jasper kept playing in her mind .

“I just don’t get it, Talia,” he said quietly. “You’re so talented, but you don’t want to take any risks. You say you want to paint, but you’re stuck here, waiting for some perfect moment that might never come.”

She looked away, biting her lip. “It’s not about waiting, Jasper. I need space — space to feel, to breathe, to create without pressure.”

He sighed, leaning forward. “I’m trying to build a future. I want us to be part of that, but you keep holding back.”

Talia swallowed the lump in her throat. “Maybe we want different things. You want certainty, and I want freedom. I don’t think we can have both.”

Jasper’s shoulders slumped. “So… what are you saying?”

She met his eyes, tears threatening but held steady. “I think… I need to go. Not because I don’t care, but because I have to find myself.”

The silence that followed wasn’t empty — it was filled with the weight of goodbye.

Before she knew it , the train reached the town. Here comes the new beginning .

In this town, where the skies often wept gentle tears and the sea sang lullabies to the shore, Talia hoped to rediscover her voice, one brushstroke at a time. She did manage to discover the voice of her art but at what cost ?
