CAPÍTULO 1: “El día en que empezó todo” (continuac

Seúl, Corea del Sur – Lunes, 7:23 AM – Lluvia ligera


(El sonido de la lluvia cubre el bullicio de la estación de metro. La gente se mueve rápido, cada uno en su mundo. Entre ellos, una chica de uniforme escolar camina con pasos apurados y torpes.)


Narradora (voz en off - Seo-yun):

“Nunca pensé que un día común terminaría cambiándome para siempre. Pero a veces… el destino tiene otros planes.”


(Han Seo-yun tropieza al salir del tren. Su mochila se cae y los libros se desparraman por el suelo mojado.)


Seo-yun (murmurando):

—Ay no… qué vergüenza.


(De repente, una mano se agacha a ayudarle. Ella levanta la vista. Un chico de mirada seria, auriculares colgando del cuello, la observa sin expresión.)


Kang Ji-hoon:

—Deberías mirar por dónde caminas.


(Seo-yun parpadea, algo molesta por el tono pero agradecida.)


Seo-yun:

—Gracias… supongo.


(Ji-hoon le pasa el último libro sin mirarla más. Se gira y se va, como si nada. Ella lo sigue con la mirada.)


Narradora (voz en off):

“Fue solo un segundo… pero algo en sus ojos me hizo sentir que no era un desconocido cualquiera.”
