I come from humble Beginnings, such as, grew up, went to school and learned the regular stuff like english math, literature and trade classes. I never thought I would be writing books, but it just started to happen. One morning, very early, I woke up with a story to write, it was like a little muse was sitting on the side of my bed saying to me, “I have a story for you to write, I know you have never written a book, but you will and I am going to help you so don’t worry, I’ll give you the ideas and you write them”. That was the basis of my first book; a fiction story of a Hollywood personality who wins the presidency of the United States running on a third party ticket. I have just completed a children’s picture book. The name is: Lost in Hospital Land. The idea for this one came after I brought someone to the hospital to have a test done. Walking down the long and winding hallways gave me the idea how easily someone could get lost trying to find their way out. Because I work in graphic arts, I illustrated the pictures that are in this one. I have another book I also just finished. The name is (

Introduction

Gavius was ushered forcibly down a big dark hole that was called the ‘Birth Portal.’ He was concerned about making this trip, but before he lost consciousness, he had a flashback of the situation that took place prior to this moment.

“It’s another wondrous day in the realm in which I now live,” Gavius laughed as he thought, “it’s so magical and gratifying here.”

“For those of you who are unfamiliar with me, I am called Gavius, I am from Derbe, a man from Corinth who accompanied Paul in his travels. That was a long time ago in a place that is far away from where I reside now. It was very fulfilling as I think back in time, a very different life with different experiences. I was called to go and help make the world a better place. Those were trying days, but for many, they were very important days and they were very essential in changing the course of the world for many.”

“I could never explain it and make it clear so that most minds would even be able to comprehend? I think not, it is simply not relatable on the plane that I now exist. I wish that I could explain the feelings that I have, where I now reside is a place that vibrates of love, it permeates everything and everywhere. The streets are paved with gold, there are mansions everywhere. How could anyone imagine that?”

Gavius was thinking about what was then and what is now. He listened intently to those who spoke to him and told him about the changes that had taken place since he was last on Earth. ”These are souls that have gone there and returned and wouldn’t want to go back for any reason, so I’m thinking that why would I ever want to go there again? “

“I’ve heard that that place of existence has become very negative and full of people taking advantage of others. Greedy, power happy, self serving people causing hunger, strife and harm to others and although I have thought about it, it just doesn’t sound like an environment I would care to visit again.”

“I’m very happy where I am, but it seems I have to go again because I’ve been called.”

The supreme one came to me as I was working on my writing, studies and development. He said, “Gavius, I have an assignment for you. This is a very important mission I’m sending you on. I think you are very qualified, as you did so well with Paul in those glorious days of change. Although I cannot tell you anything about it, you will know what to do when you come to the point through growth. You will start out as a young and inexperienced person; however you will grow wise through aging with time. These are trying times and important events I need you to be making decisions on, so it is imperative that you leave soon. Go to the others, they will help you to travel there.” Gavius said, “I’m very flattered that you have picked me to do your bidding, how can I refuse you, I will get with the others so they can instruct me on what must be done.”

Gavius convened with the ones who would show him the way. This was unfamiliar to him because of the time that had lapsed from his last visit. He said to the others,” So, I would have to revisit the plane called Earth, and this would require my development in a fleshly body rather than the free and unrestricted form I am living in now?”

One of the others said, “Yes, but of course, and your desires will not happen as fast or as soon as you would expect them to, the powers that be will decide when you will accomplish success or failure. It wouldn’t be up to you like it is now, however that’s just a minor difference.”

“I am aware I wouldn’t know life there as I do here.” said Gavius. They said, “Yes, this will be true as you know, however, it would be fulfilling.” They said, “You will forget everything that you know now as not to spoil your experience. you will have what is called free will, also there will be someone with you at all times to give you guidance and direction when you need it and although you may not be aware of them, they will show themselves when they feel it’s necessary.” Gavius thought, “Well, it does sound intriguing, but this is a big decision. What if I’m making the wrong choice, but then again, what if…? Maybe it could be a wonderful experience. I may never get another chance to experience this particular opportunity.” Gavius thought about it, debated with himself; agonized over it.

He went from yes, to no, to yes again. He thought long and hard and finally decided that he really wasn’t sure about going. “I know I’ve been called, but I just don’t know.” he said. They said, “Come over here Gavius, we want to show you something we don’t believe you’ve seen.”

They showed him this large hole with a slide that went down into the darkness and disappeared. Gavius asked, “What is that?” They said, “That’s the ‘Birth Portal’ and it will take you there.” Gavius said, “What does that mean and what does it do?” They picked him up and threw him down the slide, saying, “You’ll find out, it’ll be great, you’ll be born and you’ll only be there for eight minutes our time, of course every minute of our time equates to ten years of their time, GOOD LUCK,” they said as they laughed, watching him disappear down the portal.

Gavius headed downwards, picking up speed, screaming, “Noooooo.” He was going faster and faster and then lost consciousness. Everything went black. His mind became oblivious to everything after that.
