The Beginning of the End

He was in his final year of college -- smart, silent, and focused. He believed love was just a distraction. While most boys chased attention, he chased perfection. Girls admired him , but he never looked back.

Then one ordinary morning turned into something unforgettable. A new girl joined the college. She walked up to him, smiled politely, and asked,

"Excuse me... where's the principal's office?" But he couldn't answer. Not immediately. he was lost in her eyes.

That moment shook something inside him. For the first time in his life, he felt what he had always ignored -- love .

Days passed. He began noticing her more. The way she laughed. The way she tucked her hair behind her ear. Every little detail of her became a memory.

She didn't even know his name, But for him - she was already a chapter written in bold.

He waited, silently loving her from afar. He dreamt of the farewell night. "I'll tell her," he promised himself.

But fate had others plans .

Just before he could take a step forward, he saw her smile -- not at him, but at someone else.

Another boy stood before her, holding a rose. And she says yes.

He stood still in the crowd, clapping like everyone else , smiling like nothing broke.

But inside.... something shattered.

He never told her.

She never knew.

And he ?

He never loved again.

She moved on with her story.

But he still lives in that unfinished sentence -- the boy who fell in love , silently.

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel
