Prison
What most people fail to understand is that torture has never been about hurting someone. Torture is when you can convince someone that you are capable of inflicting so much more pain. The moment you convince them that you are the threat to everything they hold dear, the threat to having them loose everything they have, that is true torture.
A couple of years ago, you heard about the escape of two teens who were in a max prison, trialed and incarcerated as adults, one was shot and killed while escaping. What if I told you there was an entire conspiracy full of a series of events appearing completely random and the one thing that they all have in common is me.
And yes, I was the second guy escaping. Let's go back to a random kid, 15 at the time, grew up rich and spoiled, learning very early that dad's money will clean anything he does. And let's say he had an interest in a random girl that lived in an average neighborhood. And let's say this girl was not interested in this guy. Now, let's say the rejection hurt this boy's ego so much that he hired a bunch of his friends to kidnap the girl, then he went and recorded himself raping, beating and killing this girl, a video that was seven hours long. Now let's say one of the kidnappers was so guilt ridden about the entire thing that he decides to report them, and the police find the video, something his father buy off anyone.
Now let's say one of the dead girl's neighbor was discovered to be a serial killer, a year after the boy's imprisonment. And let's say he was sentenced to the same prison as the girl's killer, same room in fact. And then three months after the neighbor is incarcerated, they escape, and while the girl's neighbor succeeds, the girl's killer dies by a single gunshot in the back of the head. Would you find that suspicious? What if I told you everything was planned from the day the boy was arrested for the murder.
Let's go back to the neighbor, a quiet kid that spent his middle school years in boarding school, and two weeks after he returns home, he hears that his neighbors lost their daughter to a rich spoiled kid in the most monstrous way possible. He starts looking into the killer's father, a rich man, high in the cooperate world with a lot of shady friends. It takes him two months to get concrete evidence of the father dealing with known wanted drug dealers and uses it as leverage to get information on all the people he bought over the years.
The boy then uses this information to ........
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. How does he get this information?"
People have no idea how easy it is to be invisible simply by appearance, that homeless guy that made eye contact with you, that guy in a wheelchair you didn't want to help, the crying girl in the corner of the shop on a call, probably receiving bad news. Now think of all those people, and imagine if they had a camera recording you, something to listen into your conversations or just pictures. Now imagine your son has just been found guilty for something so horrible and the entire world knows, then you receive a letter threatening you to give out the details of all people you have ever bought to help cover up your son's past misdeeds and those protecting him in prison, otherwise everything is made public, how long before you lose everything?
Obviously, I got the names. I started with the most obvious one, the judge. The sentence was supposed to be the death penalty, but with what he was offered, he obviously decided life in prison with parole set in 15 years was a better verdict. It didn't take long to get his shady acts, all the unfair sentences he made to help either the convicted or the accusers. He only got a letter telling him that he will get a serial killer case in a few months, and to make sure the suspect is found guilty and sent to the same prison the girl's killer was sent.
Then came the investigating officer, this one was a bit hard. It is always hard when dealing with someone who has a moral scale, trying to balance the shady corrupt things he does with what he forces himself to do to try and balance it out by doing good. He gave a testimony saying that the video evidence and all that was in the phone can be taken out of context. Out of context! All because his second ex-wife is too expensive. I needed to find something that will get him interested and as it turns out, he was also the investigating officer for the serial killer. A detailed letter on where to go, what evidence to look for and the entire conviction will persuade anyone looking to feel good after helping a raping murderer get a light sentence.
The plan was set to get into prison, so I needed a plan to get out as well. Starting with the prison warden, instructing him to put me in the same cell as the kid was easy. Showing him that I know of all his arrangements with the wealthier and more successful "business owning" prisoners he had was enough to convince him that once a kid the same age as the killer would come, be sure to put them in the same cell, you know, two killers in one cell, similar age, you would not need a lot of reasons to do this. The escape route was left to prison guard 6, who has an enormous amount of child porn, and once he knew he would get busted, opening one cell door on a specific date at a specific time was easier than explaining to the police why he has that many porn videos. After that, the tower guard in the east side will get a letter telling him that on that specific date, at a certain time, he will have to shoot the shirtless prisoner escaping, making sure it is a fatal shot or he would have to explain to his wife why his "nephew" is actually his son and why he slept with his wife's sister and still is.
"Why would you not just expose all these people? There are so many things that are very wrong here, too many bad people to just threaten them and let them continue with what they do, even if it is to bring justice your friend's killer, right?"
Well, if you let me continue explaining without interrupting me, I will tell you that every threat had one more condition, "Stop what you are doing. If you ever repeat "whatever it is", you will face the consequences. Anyways, as I was saying, it took me almost an entire year to prepare, after that, I was convicted as a serial killer and sentenced to life in prison with the kid as my cellmate. A month into the sentencing, the top news was two inmates, both young and both convicted of murder tried to escape after a faulty power shock unlocked an entire line of doors for them to escape. Unfortunately, the one convicted of rape and murder was shot and killed as they tried to run away, but the other one, who at the time was supposed to be the serial killer escaped. The news did not make headlines for more than three days because new evidence emerged showing that the real serial killer was already dead and buried. All the evidence pointed to the investigating officer falsifying the original report and suggested that he had been working with the serial killer.
"How did you do it?"
Do what.
"All of it. How did you know how to do all that?"
Oh, that is actually what I came here for, look up the details I gave you first, confirm them, then I will tell you the rest. They will be a bit more believable if you at least see some of the things am saying are true.
