Chapter 1: Where the existence glows.

Aila opened her eyes to darkness.

The air was still, and the ground beneath her felt cold like stone. She sat up slowly, heart beating fast. There were no stars, no walls—just endless black. But then she saw them.

Two doors. Standing side by side.

Both were glowing a strange, soft purple, like they were painted with light. The glow didn't hurt her eyes. It almost... invited her.

Aila stood. She didn't remember walking here. She didn't remember falling asleep. Only the sound of a page turning in her book, and then—this.

She looked at the doors.

No signs. No clues. No voices.

Only the silence.

And the feeling that one of them was waiting for her.

Aila stood in front of the two purple doors, her heart pounding. Darkness still surrounded everything, and though there was no visible danger, the silence pressed on her like a heavy weight.

"Left..." she whispered to herself, as if saying it out loud would make the choice more solid.

She turned to the door on the left. It had no handle, but when she placed her hand on its surface, it gave off a soft flicker. It didn't burn. It wasn't cold. It felt like touching warm light woven into fabric.

She took a breath. Closed her eyes.

And stepped through.

What she expected on the other side—a way out, an answer, or even just a change—never came. Instead, she found exactly the same.

Darkness.

Cold.

Silence.

And two more doors.

But this time, they weren't quite identical. They were still tall, purple, softly glowing... but above each one floated a word in silver letters, shimmering like smoke suspended in the air.

One said CHANGE.

The other, ACCEPTANCE.

Aila took a step back.

Something was off. This wasn't just a dream.

And then she saw it.

Between the two doors floated a strange being. Its body was a simple square, as if made of glass, and inside, soft lights moved like tiny stars.Itwore large round glasses on what might've been its "face."

Aila froze.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaky.

"My name is Wilhelm," it said. The voice was calm, deep, and didn't come from the air. It didn't echo. It wasn't spoken. She simply heard it—inside her mind, as if the thought had always been there.

Aila stared.

"What is this place?"

The cube moved closer, its glow flickering, and spoke:

—This place is @&*^%$#.

And you are here for ^$&*%.

The words were incomprehensible, completely chaotic, like a forgotten language, a sequence of characters that didn't follow any logical pattern. Something in the tone of the cube, in the way its words reached Aila's mind, conveyed the feeling that nothing here made sense, but somehow, it all seemed deeply connected.

"It seems you still don't remember your purpose here," Wilhelm said, his voice calm but full of an inexplicable certainty. "But that's not important this is a more complex evaluation"

Aila stood silently, her mind racing. A purpose? An evaluation? None of this made sense. Why her, why this cube? And why was she stuck in this place, unable to move forward? Confusion overwhelmed her, but she tried to calm herself. Maybe if she followed its instructions, she would find an answer.

Wilhelm floated a little closer, its glow flickering gently.

"Now, look further to your right."

Aila, still hesitant but following the advice, slowly turned her head. In the distance, something began to become visible. It was a medium-sized box, with a shiny surface reflecting the cube's faint light.

It wasn't an ordinary box. It had a peculiar design, as though it had been made to conceal something valuable, something that should not be touched without a reason.

"Come closer to it," Wilhelm commanded, its tone more serious, as though the waiting had reached its end.

Aila hesitated for a moment, but something in the way the cube spoke urged her to approach. Slowly, she began walking toward the box, each step echoing in the darkness.

When she was close, she extended her hand, but when she touched it, she felt nothing.Nosensation at all. It was as though the box were simply part of the air, an illusion manifested as an object.

With a soft sigh, Aila peered inside the box, expecting to find something that would explain her purpose here. But what she saw left her speechless. The box had no bottom.

In fact, it didn't seem to have anything inside. There was only infinite darkness, a void that stretched far beyond what she could see, as if the space within the box were an eternal emptiness.

Suddenly, she heard something.

A voice.

At first, it was barely a whisper, so low that Aila thought it was her imagination. But as she looked deeper into the box, the voice grew louder, clearer, more desperate.

It was a strange voice, distorted, as if it came from somewhere far away, a call for help that seemed to reverberate through the air.

"Help... please... help me..."

The voice seemed to rise from the depths of that endless void, pleading for assistance again and again. It sounded more desperate with each passing second.

Aila took a step back, but the feeling of being called from that dark depth only intensified. Who was there? And what did all of this mean?

The cube watched silently.

The voice kept echoing from the bottom of the box, now much louder, more urgent, more desperate. Aila could feel her heart beating faster with every word she heard, getting louder and more distorted, as if something was about to come out. Something dark, something that had been waiting inside that bottomless box.

"Help me... please... help me!"

It was a cry for help, and as the sound grew, an inexplicable cold began to seize her body. It felt as if the air around her thickened, became denser, almost as if the box were absorbing all the energy from its surroundings. A sense of terror surrounded her completely.

Suddenly, as though something was about to break the barrier of the box, Aila saw a shadow move inside. A flicker of something, a blurry figure that seemed to be emerging from the endless depths.

The feeling that something was approaching paralyzed her. An irrational impulse drove her to move, to flee, without thinking.

She quickly turned and, without looking back, ran toward the doors.

Wilhelm's voice echoed behind her, warped and vibrating strangely through the air.

"So... you're the $&@#^!&$! type..." Wilhelm's voice distorted for a moment, as if trying to understand something, as if it was adjusting to a new thought pattern.

To her right was the closest one, and without hesitation, she reached it. But as she ran, something strange happened. The words floating above the doors were no longer the same. The letters glowed faintly, but now the words were different.

Before, they had said CHANGE and ACCEPTANCE. Now, the doors read:

CALL FOR -----and WAIT AN- ----.

Aila could barely read them as she ran, and in her panic, she only managed to see half of each word, as if time had sped up, or maybe it was fear that was blocking her. Without thinking too much, she reached out for the right door and pushed it hard. The sound of the door sliding across the floor echoed in the oppressive silence of the darkness.

When she opened it, the light that leaked from the crack illuminated her face, and for a moment, Aila thought she had made it, that she was back in a familiar place. But as she crossed the threshold, the sensation that she had made a mistake began to settle heavily in her chest.

What awaited her on the other side?
