Caught in the middle

It’s crazy how you can like someone even though you know your feelings are at risk.
I didn’t know it was going to get there. It was all random. I never expected to fall for him.
Flashback: it was a regular Friday, except we had a dress-down day where we had got to wear clothes other than the school uniform everyone was showing off their new stuff and bla bla bla. I went to class like usual,then my eyes landed on him (Jordan:the typical player that has multiple gf’s, charming face and all) we’re friends but that was the first time I’ve seen him like actually seeing him, new haircut, white shirt, black jeans and a pair of black and white Jordans. That’s when it all started.
Chapter 1: the warning
“Hey, y’all,” says my friend (Rose)
“Hey” I respond
“What y’all doing so close up to each other?”ask her
“Watching TikTok what else do you think ” says Jordan looking up from the phone
“You don’t have to be so close though” says Rose
“Nah we good” says Jordan without looking up from the phone
“Skylar come here for a second” says Rose
“Do i have to?” I ask
“Yes!” She exclaims
“Please don’t go ” pleads Angel with his head still on my shoulder
“Boy if you don’t get up… “without finishing the sentence he gets up before she could finish
In the corner of the classroom” girl, you know he’s a player right “she says “ he plays with girls’ feelings”
“I know” I respond
“Then why you all cuddled up with him like this? You know how them students can be”she says giving me that look
“I was just watching TikTok then came up to me and he asked if he could watch with me and I said sure, and that’s all” I try to defend myself
“Anyways”she sighs“if you say so”
“But don’t say I didn’t warn you about him”
“It’s okay girl I got it all under control”I say going back to where I was sitting
