Chapter 1
2 teens, Erin, and Lillac, meet at middle school in Arizona. What they had in common was little to none, and what went right along with it, is that they hated each other. Well not hate, hate is a strong word. But they didn’t like each other in any way, shape, or form.
One day, when Lillac was walking to her 4th period, she noticed that her teacher was gone, and her class was split. (Being spilt is where a ton of kids in that class to to different classes but not everyone goes to the same one) Lillac realized in that moment, that she had been split to Mr. Rugburr, Erin’s teacher. She whined and groaned and walk to her class, being late.
When Lillac got to Mr. Rugburr’s class and he opened the door, the first person she saw was Erin. She rolled her eyes and walked in. Erin blushed as he saw her walk through the door, and sat next to him, the only seat open. Erin said, “Hi Lillac!” But she didn’t respond. Underneath all that hatred for Erin, Lillac secretly liked him. But no one knew about this except for her best friend, Ally.
Erin acted nice because he liked her more than just a person or a friend, as a partner. One day Ally spoke to Lillac, abour how she ahould stop acting fake around him. Ally in summary said that she needed to show her true colors and no matter how badly she didn’t want to, Lillac knew she had to. On a Tuesday, Lillac finally got the courage to go up to him, but didn’t confess. She said, “Hi Erin. I was wondering if you wanted to have my number? You are a good student, and I need help on a homework assignment.” Erin responded by saying, “Oh uhh, hi! Ye- Yeah, sure! I’ll uhh, I’ll call you after school. Bye!” And Erin ran off as Lillac gave her the paper for her number.
After school, Lillac was hoping that Erin would call soon, and not too long before 5:00, Erin called and both saved each other in their phones as pet names. Now, Lillac was also a good student, but she just did that to get his attention. They called and talked like the two secret love birds that they are. The next day, Erin asked if Lillac wanted to go on a walk with her after school around 6:30, during golden hour of the sunset. They walked and talked, and adter a while that stopped and Erin confessed his love for Lillac. He said, “Haha! That was funny, but I have something to say, Lillac… When I say this, don’t think that if this will change anything at all, ok? I uhh, i have feelings for you. I’m sorry that this is a sudden spark but I- I- I-I-“ And Lillac responded, “No, no! It’s okay! I actually like you too.” Erin’s face turned so red, he looked like a tomato at this point!
