I've been tutoring Wesley since the beginning of the summer after he failed a course last semester. He's relying on me to help him pass so he can play in the upcoming season. And I'm struggling to keep my crush on him a secret. But when he asks me to dinner out of the blue, I'm left reeling from the sudden change in him. Because we're polar opposites. Realistically, it doesn't make sense that a star basketball player like him is interested in some nerdy guy chasing his doctorate's degree. But I can't tell him no. I don't want to tell him no either. If he decides we're better off as friends, or even worse, just a tutor and his student, it'll hurt... But it's a risk I'm willing to take.
