The Prologue
THE PROLOGUE
It is the year 2090 and a cold day in December at the Facility. Captain Fernandez, accompanied by his private, walks into the scientific research and weapon section and inspects the work done to create equipment for creating scientifically augmented humans (SAH’s) for use as defense against unknown threats who might threaten the safety of the nations within the Unified Union. Captain Fernandez speaks to Professor Janton Elwin the lead researcher.
“What is the current state of your research Prof”
“We are done with creating the technology that will be implanted within the SAH’s. All we need now is test subjects”
“Leave that to me Prof. We should be able to get them from a variety of places.”
“May I know Sir, the procedure of disposing of those incompatible?”
“They will have their memories wiped of this incident and returned after some time.”
“Okay Sir”
Captain Fernandez then returns to his office in the Facility. Once in the confines of the office his private asks him a question.
“Pardon me sir, but if I may ask. Why is there such an important need for the creation of SAH’s?”
“That is classified information private. All you need to know is that it is for the defense of all the countries under the unified union.”
“Yes Sir!”
The true reason behind it is that the unified union had received intel from their spies that the enemies of the unified union, The Resnation Federation, were in the process of creating a powerful weapon that could destroy entire countries within a single day. To combat this threat the Unified Union created a project to develop technology that could be implanted in humans that would allow them to possess certain abilities that would be capable of destroying this threat. They would then infiltrate the Resnation Federation and destroy the weapon.
They would have succeeded to, if only they had more time........
