A Celebration to a Victory
Striding through the corridors of the grand castle of Velmoria, the Land of the high born, the princess, Seraphina, means fiery angel, runs to the main hall to greet her father, His Majesty, Aurelius Velmorne, her matcha green gown running behind her on the marble floor accompanied by the click clack of heels.
Huffing, she ended up right on time and place, lowering herself on the engraved throne on her father's right, she passes a nod to her brother Lucien, means light, who acknowledges her the most.
A while later His Majesty along with the second empress, Virelda Velmorne, arrives at the main hall, followed by cheers and greetings of nobles and commoners altogether.
They seated themselves too on the thrones at the center, and soon the moment came, the most awaited one, the warrior of the Velmoria empire, Rowan, a man who's more familiar with a sword than a pen, arrived with his troop of brave soldiers.
A Grand Banquet was organised for his victory, a magnificent return from the battlefield without an injured soldier, a fight won with courage and tactics.
Rowan greeted the king with respect.
Rowan was the king's son but an illegitimate one, one he had hidden from the first empress, Celestina Velmorne, when she was alive and pregnant with prince Lucien.
Rowan was a cunning personality, someone who was not raised as the part of imperial family but was forced to be the part of it, someone you cannot trust on until he owes you something, an unwanted child who learned excellent sword skills just to get loved by others.
On the other hand, Lucien, a man who's a diplomate, someone who can negotiate better than the king, as equal as a politician, words sharper than a blade, a person who can turn tides of people to his side just by giving a speech.
Meanwhile, Seraphina or Sera, the most loved daughter, second born after Lucien, the only princess, the line, Jack of all cards but master of none, was made for her, a girl who's a fighter, a swordswoman, a princess, a sister, a beauty and moreover a kind soul.
The Banquet was perfect, and the fact that everyone behaves perfectly is what makes it uncomfortable.
When everyone expected the moment to heat between the siblings after years of seeing each other again, it was all to perfect, a little too much, the fact that Lucien didn't cared was visible.
Lucien biggest flex? He doesn't care.
The fact that he was more irritated by tight clothes than Rowan's presence was pure.
The rest of the party went by smoothly with no major incidents.
But what awaits ahead?...
After the banquet is over?...
At night when almost everybody sleeps?...
An uninvited appearance?...
