"Chapter 23 is pretty wild. It sounds like the political situation here in the US in September of 2025. The elves fighting in hatred against the danger that threatens them -- that is a danger that doesn't exist -- sounds a lot like what's happening here. The king holing up in his luxury, safe from the dangers that the common elves faced, sounds like our leader holding up in his own luxury, safe from the effects of ICE raids, tariffs, astronomical increase of food prices, military in the streets, and threats of job loss. The more you got into the description of what was going on with the elves the more I could see our current situation. It's very interesting"
