Chapter 1 (the capture)
What if the friends you've known your whole life, the people you trust with everything you have, the people you cant live without, just disappeared? For me it was the worst day of my life. It made me feel like nothing matters even though everyone says i have the perfect life. My life is anything but perfect.
My name is Nova Sparrow and my best friend is Luna Dovel. We were always together and if we weren't we were on facetime. All. Day. Long. She is my life or was.
The thing is that im not exactly normal and neither is this story.
People think my life is perfect because I'm the most popular girl in school, have my dream car (black jeep) i have the best boy friend in the world. His name is kai Raven, captain of the basketball team and the most loyal and caring person in the whole world. Im currently 17 years old and so is kai. We've been together since we were 14 and he's never been anything but nice to me.
Let's talk about how my life is so not perfect. I have really bad anxiety and depression and i mean you can't blame me, my best friend got kidnapped and noone knows what happened or where she is or even if she's alive. Not only that but my mum never new me and my dad died when i was 10. I have one sister who is 6 years old ond and we live with our aunt Mila. Mila is the best, there's no rules except she needs to know where i am. It doesn't matter where that is but i have to tell her where im going.
I live in Georgia, USA and my favourite place is the whole world is at the top of this abandoned building next to the hospital. This might sound weird but sometimes i look at people through the window and hope that Luna is okay.
I've been constantly looking for her, researching missing people and kidnapping scenes and yesterday i found something. The guy that took Luna has taken 15 people and enslaved them the police can't find him and they gave up a while ago, but i found him name. Nyxen Valt. I found cluees on the walls of the crime scenes, they all have symbols of an old forgotten language used in 1851 and it translates to these letters, a b a n d o n l a k e 1 a m 1/5/15, so that's where I'll go. The abandon lake a 1am on 1/5/15.
I'm going to go with my boyfriend so im not alone, its currently 12am and im getting ready with weapons and things because i don't know what im about ro face. I just hope that Luna isn't hurt or in danger. Im not leaving without her,i won't give up. Ever.
