Chapter 1

It was a warm afternoon when Bora’s world turned upside down. Her parents had just found out that she had gone for a movie audition without telling them. “How could you do this without asking us?” her mother yelled. Her father looked disappointed, and that hurt even more.

“I just wanted to follow my dreams,” Bora whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.

But they wouldn’t listen.

Unable to take it anymore, Bora ran to her room, grabbed her small bag, and stormed out of the house. Tears streamed down her face as she walked aimlessly through the park, her heart heavy. Suddenly—*bam!*—she collided into someone.

“I’m so sorry!” she said, wiping her tears.

“It’s okay,” said a gentle voice. She looked up and gasped. It was **Jungkook**, the famous singer she admired so much.

“Are you alright?” he asked, concerned.

Embarrassed, Bora quickly nodded and lied, “I just tripped. Nothing serious.”

They sat down on a nearby bench. Jungkook reached into his bag and handed her a bottle of juice.

“Here, you look like you could use this.”

Bora hesitated, then took it with a small smile. “Thank you.”

They sat in silence for a moment, then slowly began to talk. She didn’t tell him the full truth, but his kind eyes and warm voice made her feel better.

“I’m Jungkook, by the way,” he said, offering his hand.

“I know,” she laughed shyly. “I’m Bora.”

They shook hands, and from that moment on, a new friendship began—one that neither of them expected, but both were grateful for.

PART 2

It had been three months since that day in the park—the day Bora met Jungkook.

Since then, things changed. Slowly, but surely.

They started texting now and then. He’d sometimes send her voice notes when she seemed down, and she’d share little pieces of her world with him. But despite it all, one thing didn’t change:

He still ignored her in front of others.

Especially when Minji was around.

Minji. The girl who smiled too sweetly in front of Jungkook but threw daggers with her eyes when Bora walked by.

She knew.

Minji knew Bora liked him—and hated her for it.

Because Minji liked him too.

But Jungkook? He was clueless. He treated Minji like a sister, like someone precious—but never in that way.

At least, that’s what Bora hoped.

One afternoon, Bora sat alone on the rooftop of the school, the wind brushing her hair as she stared at the copy of her acting contract. She had gotten the lead role in a new drama. Her first big step. Her dream was starting.

But the weight on her chest wouldn't lift.

She wanted to tell him.

Even if he didn’t feel the same. Even if he loved Minji or someone else.

She just wanted him to know who she really was.

Part3

Jungkook, Minji, and their close friends had planned a weekend getaway at a beautiful resort. The sun was bright, the pool sparkled invitingly, and laughter echoed around. It was supposed to be a carefree trip, full of fun and memories.

But everything changed the moment Bora arrived.

She stood by the poolside, her phone pressed to her ear, nervously calling Jungkook. He didn’t answer. Her heart sank.

Just then, Minji spotted her. A cold smile curled on Minji’s lips as she strode over, voice sharp and icy.

“Bora, listen carefully. Today, I’m going to propose to Jungkook. So, do us all a favor—leave. Now.” Her tone was rude, filled with anger and jealousy.

Bora squared her shoulders, meeting Minji’s glare with quiet strength. “Did you really think I’d steal Jungkook away from you? , I love him too. Don’t act like you own him.”

Minji’s eyes narrowed. She looked toward Jungkook, who was standing a little distance away, unaware of the brewing storm. Then, without warning, Minji took a running leap and dove into the pool with a splash.

Jungkook’s head snapped toward the water. Seeing Minji struggling under the surface, he immediately dove in after her.

Moments later, Jungkook pulled Minji out, gasping for air but safe. He helped her sit on the edge of the pool and then turned sharply toward Bora, his eyes blazing.

“How dare you come here and ruin everything?” he snapped. “Get out. Now.”

Bora’s throat tightened. The words hit harder than she expected. ....
