There’s a heaviness that lingered long after I finished it

"As it ended, I felt as if it really was the last letter he sent because he didn't survive the war. But for my own sanity, I'd like to imagine otherwise. Why did it end there? Anyway, I love the way it was written and narrated through mostly letters. I don't think I've read any other stories that is narrated mostly using letters before. It spoke of the horror of the war only in fragments but I don’t know how to explain how it made me feel. There’s a heaviness that lingered long after I finished it. Also, here and there, some words need editing."
