PROLOGUE {TANYA}
**Last Day Of School**
I can't believe I'm leaving this school, although I've changed many schools before but I don't know why leaving this school makes me sad, it's not like I enjoyed it a lot all these years or I had many friends but...it still feels bad . Ruby is gonna kill me if I'll tell her about changing school. Ruby is not the only reason I'm sad about changing school, it's also-
The bell rang, teacher collected our papers , I looked back when the boys started leaving the classroom,and saw Kabeer.
-HIM, he is the biggest reason I don't want to leave this school
"How was your paper!?",Ruby jumped out of nowhere and asked me.
"You startled me, it went well",I replied .
"Damn I never thought it would be so easy, if I knew before I wouldn't have studied this hard for it ", she said while looking at canteen .
"I've something to tel-"I was about to tell her that I'm leaving school but she interrupted.
"I'm going to the Canteen,do you want something".
"No, but lis-".
"Ok I'm coming in a minute then", she said and left without hearing me.
I went to take my bag and came back and sat on my bench, everyone around me was discussing question paper . Ruby is my only friend I don't talk to other classmates until it's important so I was just sitting there. After a while one of my classmate , hira, approched me
"Heyy sweetheart, how was the paper",she asked sitting beside me
"Hi, it went well", I replied,
I was not in a mood of talking , I looked around and saw Kabeer standing with his friends, my eyes stopped i felt a mixture of sadness and happiness inside me.
"Don't tell me you like him",Hira asked me .
"What,N-no, how can I ? , why will I?", I cannot tell her ,she knows that Alia likes him too , if she'll know she'll think I'm trying to steal her(Alia's)crush , although I liked him first and she's not even sure if she likes him but still. I didn't tell anyone ,so according to everyone else she's the only one who like him.
"I knew it! You like him", she said with amusement.
"What, I never said that ".
"You didn't but you eyes always did, anyone who'll see you looking at him will know you like him".
I stayed silent .
"So, since when?"she broke the silence .
"When what?.
"Since when you like him".
Since she knows now there's no point in hiding.
"7th class".
"So 4 years".
"Yeah".
"He knows?".
"Maybe, maybe not".
I heard it from our mutual friend, Kaiz, that he thinks I like him, I denied I liked him . Ofcourse i can't tell him.
"Then tell him , you should know what he thinks about you".
Well the things Kaiz told me I don't think he even like me as a human being, well he told kaiz I'm not a good girl by personality,and he should not be friend with me.
"No, I'm not telling him , and neither you are".
"Why not?"
"It's my last day here, I'm not more gonna see him .In easy words it all just ended"
She stared at me for a long second
"Do me a favour, and pls don't tell anyone especially Aaliyah.No one knows about it,not even ruby."
"Sure".
"I'm ba-"ruby came back with chips in her hand, she looked at hira and her face got dull
"Hey" Hira smiled at her
"Hi" ruby gave a reply in dry tone
Ruby hates Hira, according to ruby , hira act too girly and flirty around boys and do alot of drama , which is not exactly wrong.
"Why don't you go to your friends and let me sit with mine" ruby said with mockery.
"Aah yes" Hira said and looked at me and smiled "it was so nice to talk to you on your last day darling all the best for the future, bye," And then she left.
Ok now I hate her too.
"What did she just said right now",Ruby asked me in confusion .
"I was trying to tell you but you didn't listened".
"What?" She scrunches her eyebrows.
"I'm leaving this school",I confessed.
She looked at me and blinked.
"No you are not".
"Yes I am".
"I'm not letting you".
"I've already taken the T.C".
she opened her mouth and closed it .
"Why didn't you told me earlier?".
"I tried".
"You tried to tell me today, Im asking why didn't you told me before exams?".
"I-" I wasn't ready , not mentally, I wasn't ready to accept the fact I'm leaving.
"I'm sorry", seriously that's what all I got!!?
After a lot of apology I finally convinced her to forgive me .
"So, where are you going?, which school I mean", she finally talked
"Not confirmed yet".
"You know what , I hate you "
"I told you I wasn't ready to tell you"
"No, not bcz you didn't told me , although I am angry on that too, but I hate you bcz you told that HIRA before you told me!, and that b-"
"Language",we need to remind each other to control our tounge.
"That girl, why do she try to be your friend when she has her own!?. FRIEND STEALER "
I chuckled
Oh god , pls don't break my friendship with her after I change my school.
I'm gonna miss this idiot
