Chapter 1 Silence After Thunder
The last time they stood on the same stage was at the GMMTV 2022 fan meeting. The cheers were deafening, the lights blinding, and their hands accidentally brushed during the encore of "Our Song."
Back then, it felt eternal.
But time is a silent thief.
By the start of 2023, Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat were no longer a constant. There was no fight, no big fallout, just... silence. Interviews grew vague. Behind-the-scenes content vanished. Even fans who prided themselves on catching the smallest of glances admitted: the sparkle had faded.
Their last public interaction was a clipped birthday tweet in March 2023. No selfie. No emoji.
Just a "Hope you're doing well, bro."
It was the "bro" that hurt the most.
Bangkok, January 2025
GMMTV Studios - Conference Room B
"Okay," Director Aof clapped his hands, jolting everyone's attention back to the present. "Let's begin the first table read of Still With You."
Ohm adjusted his cap, keeping his gaze low. The long sleeves of his hoodie were tugged over his wrists, fingers fidgeting. Across the table, Nanon sat straight-backed, script in front of him, face unreadable.
Between them lay two years of unresolved tension-and a 300-page script that demanded intimacy, vulnerability, and chemistry.
Aof's voice softened. "Ohm. Nanon. You'll be playing 'Rin' and 'Thana'. Former best friends who had a falling out, then reunite years later on a film set. Sound familiar?"
A few crew members chuckled awkwardly. The room was suffocating.
"It's not lost on me," Aof continued, "that this casting isn't just fiction. I didn't choose you to relive pain. I chose you because no one else can tell this story honestly."
Nanon exhaled slowly. Ohm finally looked up.
Their eyes met-brief, sharp, charged.
Later That Night
GMMTV Parking Lot
Rain always came early in January these days.
Ohm stood under the shelter by the exit, helmet tucked under one arm. He hadn't expected the read-through to gut him. Every word in that script had felt... familiar.
"'I thought if I stayed away long enough, it'd stop hurting.'"
That was one of Rin's lines.
It wasn't acting. It was him.
"You forgot your charger."
Nanon's voice cut through the rain like an old song. He stepped beside Ohm, holding the black iPhone cord like a peace offering.
"Thanks," Ohm muttered, taking it without brushing his hand.
Silence.
Raindrops tapped rhythmically on the roof of the shelter.
"You okay with this?" Nanon asked finally, eyes on the road, not on him.
Ohm hesitated. "What? The show?"
Nanon shrugged. "Everything."
Ohm gave a short laugh-dry, brittle. "I wouldn't be here if I wasn't."
"That's not the same as saying yes."
Another beat of silence.
"You were the one who left," Nanon added, softer now. Not bitter. Just tired.
Ohm didn't answer. He couldn't. How do you explain needing to leave something beautiful because it started to feel like pressure instead of joy?
Nanon sighed. "Forget it. It's just work."
As he turned to go, Ohm called out, "It was never just work with you."
For the first time in two years, Nanon stopped walking.
But he didn't turn around.
Flashback - 2022
Backstage, Bad Buddy Wrap Party
"Ohm, we're doing a live!" Nanon grinned, tugging at his friend's sleeve.
Ohm, drained and blinking from back-to-back interviews, shook his head. "I'm tired, bro."
"You're always tired lately," Nanon mumbled, still cheerful, but his tone dipped.
Ohm looked at him. "We'll have more chances."
Nanon smiled. But that was the last live they were ever meant to do.

Ohm's Apartment - That Night
Ohm sat at the edge of his bed, scrolling through old Instagram drafts he never posted. One showed Nanon asleep during rehearsal in 2021. Caption saved, never sent:
"You always looked peaceful when you weren't trying so hard."
He hovered over delete. Then stopped.
Instead, he saved it to a new album: "Still With You."
Fade to black.
