"Good book! The plot was interesting and made me eager to continue reading further. The grammar and punctuation was nearly perfect, which usually makes me automatically love a book. Moreover, the realness of the characters and the relationships made the book seem like more of a relatable story—of real characters with real problems and feelings—than a cliche romance. Overall, I loved it. Looking forward to reading more works by the author. "

"It feels like only a few hours since I reviewed The Comfort of Ordinary and here we are again. Another wonderful story!! 24 hours of coughing, sneezing and dripping, unable to get out of bed - but the hours have passed so rapidly. I feel guilty binging on your hard work, the time it took you, and your doubts about the shape of the documentary. Several times I LOL at some of the quotes and the humorous situations. I sniffled through the high points and the lows in Ethan and Ash's interactions, totally captivated. I really enjoyed the ending as being what I hoped for (from your clues in the text) and what I feared it could be."
Not just a story, but a work of art
"This is a remarkable work of art. A beautiful romance story full of oppositions and reflections, with just the right amount of suspense. It shows that every character in the book, not just Ethan and Ash, has light and dark in them, that they are both different and the same. The documentary chapters were refreshing and different enough from the live story to not feel like repetition. They had me on the edge of my seat. Thank you author for sharing, you are a true artist."

"I was really enjoying this story, the characters are complex and well written. I was up to chapter 16 when all of a sudden I can’t read anymore. Disappointing I won’t be able to finish reading this story it was really drawing me in. "
Juxtaposition
"I probably wouldn't have read this if it hadn't been recommended to me, but I'm glad I did! This book has so much. Forced proximity. Enemies to Lovers. The slow burn. Their lives start to knit together, knowing the other person's problems. The intimacy. Having the other person's back. It makes you think about what it's like to question your sexuality. How we treat celebrities and how it feels to be scrutinised by the media. The massive impact family and poverty can have on your life. How the past can haunt you. The power of acceptance. The power of story telling and the massive differences between two versions of events. When you don't like violence but being defended from a predator by someone more dangerous strikes you as unbelievably hot. This book paints a beautiful picture of love. There's a part where one guy asks the other, when did you realise? And he answers: When you were burning the toast. 🥹 There are a few bits that are unpolished and plot loose ends that weren't properly tied up. I get that it hasn't been edited etc. Overall, I was addicted to the story and fell in love with these characters - I was really rooting for them to be happy together. "
