"Hello! 🙌 Before I could start, I'd like to thank the author for writing this outstanding book! I had a blast reading through this! 🤩 For starters, the book felt magical! The elements in this book such as the crown, the places, the powers, everything leads from one and another! The description for certain places and characters are clear and magical! Anytime I read a description of a certain place or a what a certain character was wearing, I always imagined them and felt how magical those characters are! 👀 Lithanya and Yaithra are amazing! Both are caring towards each other and protective! Both shared the same fate when it came to investigations! For example, how they had to miss the Halloween event for a banquet. But when Yaithra collapsed in one chapter and Lithanya carried her to the infirmary, it showed how they deeply care and love for each other! Though I would've liked more moments with them! 😫 Speaking of moments, I would've liked to also see a Samantha and Yaithra together more often, rather than always being stuck with Haoran. I understand Samantha put her full trust in Lithanya, though there was barely a moment for them to be together. I would've liked to see them investigate some cases alone! But they were still great duos regardless! 😆 Samantha Moonshadow was my favourite character! Her sassy tone always got me! And when she was first introduced, a lot of people from the academy were afraid of her! She was one of the characters that everyone was afraid of! 🤣 Though I really loved her connection with Lithanya! I noticed in almost every quest she and Lithanya went on, they always worked together so well! It was as if they were the perfect duo! Although, I can't forget how she was afraid of heights in that one chapter! And how Lithanya started carrying her! That was one of the funniest moments in the book! 🤣🙌 There were many times I couldn't stand Haoran, one of the biggest sneaks he pulled was pulling Yaithra into their shenanigans over an argument he had with Lithanya. He constantly called Lithanya a 'coward' when she wasn't. I didn't know whether I preferred him or Yichen. But to be entirely honest, I felt Yichen was a better character than Haoran. After losing against Haoran, his character started to build up! He began understanding what losing feels like and why he started acting differently towards anyone! For example, when Amelia pulled that nasty prank on Lithanya, he didn't approve of Amelia's actions. The old Yichen would've. I still dislike how he blocked Lithanya when Yaithra collapsed, I couldn't stand him for that. Though I started liking his character after he lost to Haoran. He was starting to become more polite! At first, he was a jerk! That's great character development! Haoran on the other hand was my least favourite character in the book. Him and Yaithra were a duo, such as how Lithanya and Samantha were, though he just wasn't a favourite character of mine! 😅 But overall, well done with developing Yichen a bit! 🙌💫 Yuxuan's twist was crazy! I remember the twist when he showed up, only it was an imposter the entire time! And then the murder starts rising and everyone immediately believed Yuxuan was out for revenge! But what he started doing to Lithanya at the end was awful! I hated how he had control over her! 😫 I never expected him to be like this, actually! Sure, the imposter was a fake, but based on the imposter's tone and personality, I expected Yuxuan to be exactly how the imposter was acting! The twist was still shocking though! 😶🤩 Jaguar was one of the biggest traitors I've witnessed! I couldn't believe he was working for Isabella (Katherine)! He always handed Lithanya so much information, just only to help Isabella take the crown! Another amazing twist! 💫 The plot is outstanding, pacing was sometimes a little slow, for example I felt it took Lithanya quite some time to officially gain her powers, but it might be just me... 😅 But overall, the plot was unique and dark! 🤩 This book is amazing and I recommend it! This is a fantasy story with magical elements, yet takes a dark tone! Great book! I truly enjoyed it! 🙌💫💙"
