"Great story but a little slow moving at times Some areas too much time was spent describing scenery, and other times the story seemed like it jumped over some story parts"
One of the Best!
"wow! This book really gets under your skin. It pulls you into the plot and situations as it progresses into a great story. It’s like you are there yourself and part of what is happening. You feel, hurt and just love the person who goes through so much. You can understand how this would affect a father and as a father who had a son who came back from Iraq with PTSD and TBI I can understand how that will pull at your heart and soul and how helpless you feel as a father because you can’t change what is going on. One thing I remember is what my son said is “I don’t care anymore “ when I told him I Loved him he said he knew that though at the time his mind didn’t care and didn’t have any effect the nothing that mattered is he want it all to stop! It took a long time for him to adjust and come back again though he is different now. This story brought it all out again and even gave me some clarity so I can accept what is as it is now. I knew this of course it just helped to bring it forward in my mind. Thanks for your story and I’ll be reading part 2 next."

A portrait of trauma recovery
"A story about a family dealing with trauma. Characters are interesting, storyline weaves through the effects of trauma on not just the victim but those around them as well and the pursuit of what happened simmering below the surface. Looking forward to book two touching on some unresolved plot points. Only complain is that it could stand to have some editing to resolve some continuity issues. "
